on the contract, it mentions that landlord can enter the apartment for police, or federal reason, but if it is not have water leak, fixing stuff, is he allow to entere my apartment without letting me know??

I offered to help a friend finish school, so I signed a loan for 10K and he co-signed. He agreed to pay off the loan, since it was for his education. Its been more than 6 months since he has given me money for the loan or paid the loan directly so I've had to pay it. Is their anyway i can take him to small claims court and have him pay for the loan. The loan did go directly to his school, would that be valid enough proof that I did not receive that money and he should pay. I have been paying the loan obviously because I don't want my credit to suffer but can I do something or am I stuck paying this bill?? please help any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

its hard now bush and his party have to keep watch be on there toes since the india attack and still has thanksgiving and christmas to watch for they destroy bush rebuilds it must be exousting i would be a nervous wreck

If a person is convicted of a hideous crime and sentenced to death. If all the evidence is pointed to him and without a doubt he commited the crime, i say he should be killed right away in a slow painful process so he could suffer before he dies like his victim(s) did. Don't bring religion into this, because i didn't either.

Ok, this child(she is 14) has been friends with my daughter since they were 2. She is having alot of problems at home i.e. father has moments of rage and has lashed out at the mother physically also has to the children a couple of times. He was court ordered to go through anger management last year which he completed but still has rages. The mother used to do drugs and now has serious mental problems, is verbally abusive. The kid had been a cutter, got involved in drugs and drinking to runaway from the stress. For a year now she has not lived with her parents but instead has been bouncing back and forth from each of her grandparents homes. She wants to live with me and we have agreed it would be good for her and her parents are starting too as well. How do I go about getting guardianship so that I can enroll her in school, take her to doctor's if needed, etc..etc.
I don't want to take her parents rights away & want the child to have contact with parents while they seek help.

They indicate I should ring them and confirm I have no TV by having someone round to check .... I don't think it's any of their business. Why should they treat me like a liar and a criminal just because I don't watch TV.

I recently received a check loan in the mail from a bank saying this is a check loan and could be cashed at my local bank. I called the bank before I cashed it and they said the day you cash it, your first payment is do 30 days thereafter, and a loan agreement will be sent out. I cashed the check for 600 dollars. I spent up the money. the following week i go to take money out of my account and there is -354 dollars. It was an out of state check in sc i live in ne. it said nowhere on the promissory note that i couldnt cash it out of the state of sc. I called the bank and they said I couldnt cash it because I lived it nebraska. Why would they send me a check saying to it to your local bank and they know I dont live in sc because my mailing address is nebraska. Can I sue this bank?

I think if soneone did something so bad that a jury/the judge thinks death is the penalty, i dont think it should be painless. im not talking torure here but if they got death as punishment i dont think the luxury of a pain-free going away party should be part of the deal. what do you guys think?

I, personally, am against Eminent Domain. I think it is an absolute abuse of power, and it is the liberals who are doing it. I don't see a lot of Republican City Councilmen trying to take people's houses away from them. It's always the liberals... Anyways, what do you think?

I just sent a "?" regarding why white people get angry...I am not racis at all! I was not talking about all white people, but there are some! Let the truth be told people pretend to like us at work & social gatherings.., but in their house its a different story! I am not saying all white people are like this, I'm in the South. You follow my husband in the store and watch him like a hawk because of his hair, etc..But you are not racis, if you don't want to be labeled as racis, than stop saying your not and show you are not in your actions. There is good and bad in every race and I am sick and tired of some white people saying, "I am not racis", If you hate us so much, why do you tan to look like us? Legislation is always being passed to limit the age of cigarette buyers, and limit places where people can smoke. On the other hand, the tobacco industry is a thriving business, unless your crop is distroyed by weather or insects, and then you just get a subsidy from the government. Maybe the real question here is what reason is there that cigarettes have not been made illegal?
