In a Casino, you can have a survelliance camera anywhere but the restrooms. BUT... you can NOT RECORD any AUDIO.. just the Video. If you record the audio along with the video, the government looks at it as a violation of the 5th ammendment.

Please elaborate on your question. Are you asking about having security cameras in the home to keep watch out for trespassers? Or are you asking about someone on the street staking out the house, like a Private Investigator?
