Exactly, obedience is the key. We have the knowledge. We know these things are detriment. But we also have a natural predisposition to fight with one another. Its inherent in us all. Eventually we will come to the level of evolution where we can all look past our differences, and get along. But that wont come without heavy losses unfortunately. We will have to come to the edge, before we can fly...

it will never happen
not as long as you have such diametrically opoosing sides
each wanting there own state ( real or otherwise ) and self rule
you will always have war.. no matter what, what you ask is for a given side to back down from there postion and accept a compromised settlement and expect to be happy with it, it simply will never happen.
