I have some debts and I can't pay them, I am on Social Security Disability and a small disability pension. Can't they attach the only income I have? I have heard that they can't, Is this true?

I was watching TV when a promo from the local RSPCA came on. It said 40% of pets were obese, and from now on they could prosecute anyone who had an obese pet for animal cruelty.

I thought it was fair enough, and decided to take my dog for 2 walks a day instead of only 1.

But then I realised there was no legislation where I live for parents with obese children. Half the kids in my area are fat, and every second one I see is eating McDonalds, drinking Coke or sucking on ice cream cones.

It suddenly seemed crazy that I could be prosecuted if I allowed my pet to become fat, but my kids could be morbidly obese and the law can't touch me.

Is this a case of "You wouldn't do it to a dog ..."?

What do other people think?

My five year old fell in the bathroom at our local Wal-Mart because of the terrible conditions. His grandfather had taken him to the bathroom, the floor was wet, and he fell and hit his head on the urinal. I took him to the ER where he had x-rays, luckily he only had neck strain and a bruse. He was put on rest for a week. When I returned five hours later the bathrooms were still a mess, I took a picture of the bathroom cleaning log, which was signed out that the bathroom had been cleaned every two hours until 9pm, but it was only 5pm. All I got was a letter stating that I had two years to file a claim. But yet a woman I work with sister fell yesterday at the same walmart and got a call today from corporate with a settlement fee. Should I try to sue walmart for keeping an unsafe environment in there stores, do I have a case????

We are alone in this cold world. We have enemies that hate us because of our skin tone. Slavery is still going on in Africa at the moment. Africans are being enslaved by the damn Arabs(muslims). Africans are being exported to the midddle east, but you see the world is keeping a blind eye. Its me and you left to fight for our rights. You see we are still slaves in America. White people arent our enemy, our enemies are arabs and ourselves. We are killing each other, we are not educatiing our children. Who cares what the white man is doing and have done... Just keep your heads up because we had and will have a grate history. Get educated and prove the white man wrong who's superior. Dont talk about it but prove it. theres no such thing as muslim brother hood we can't let those arabs enslave us....Since pre-Islamic times, sub-Saharan Africans had been traded as slaves to the Arab world, including North Africa. Unfortunately, this practice goes on today, we are not slaves we are superiorace

My fiance has a loaded airsoft gun in his car, if he get pulled over and his car gets searched will he get in trouble with the law?!? He doesn't really use it for anything, it's just in his car.

Say for instance the cure for cancer or aids was contained within the medical research of a Nazi like regime. A place where citizens are unwillingly experimented on sometimes with lethal results. Should we benefit from that kind of research or should we bury it with the victims.

They collect reasonably good monthly paychecks paid for by the general public but do not do what the general public want. Just waiting foir their nice pensions. An obvious case of thievery.

What is up with people saying that rape is not a reason to have an abortion? It is bad enough that a woman has to go through that experience, but to be forced to carry a baby that you never intended to have is terrible. If a woman chooses to carry the baby, that choice, of course, should be respected. But how can somebody judge a woman who has been attacked? Her health, career, and education could be at risk.

This isn't just a case of a woman "getting caught" after having uprotected sex. That's another can of worms.

Any opinions??

A real estate developer is starting a new subdivision called "Appleyard" (changed name to protect me). They own the domain www.appleyard.com. I created several domains such as www.myappleyard.com, www.sellappleyard.com, etc.

They do have a legitimate trademark with "Appleyard". They recently sent a cease and desist letter giving me a week to respond and transfer all of the domains I created to them. I want to do the right thing, if I'm wrong I'll transfer them. I want to create real estate sales by acting as a buyer's agent for this new subdivision. These domains were to create some of this business.

Is it called rape if you do it with someone over 18 and your under 18 and like around 15. Why would it be rape if you invite the person over and want it i thought rape these days was like someone like a stranger captures you ties you up and you don't want it but they do it not when you actually invite them. i'm just curious it's not like i ever had sex or will because i'm too young now. Oh and this is not with the subject but i would just like to know whats the the legal age limit of being able to go to jail for kids and adults and which is tuffer and harder to go through lol tuffer i know i spelled that wrong.

Can anyone tell me why gay marriage is such a big issue around election time? I always thought that there were other major issues that affect everyone and not just gays. Why not deal with them and let each American enjoy our rights that should be ours to enjoy. After all England has a gay knight and this is supposed to be the country of freedoms.

but the 2nd parent (who has lots of money for the best lawyers) is telling the child in their care tons of lies to the point that the child refuses to speak to or spend time with the "good" parent.What can the good parent do? I've read some answers on here that were 100% wrong. You cannot get a state appointed lawyer unless it is a "criminal case" against you. Legal Aid does not do custody cases. Pro Bono? Forget it! The child with the good parent is forced by law to spend 4 days a month with the bad parent & grandparents who, since the custody hearing, have treated her like dirt. Suttle insults, ignored, they NEVER call her, STOPPED ALLOWANCE, STOPPED SHOPPING TRIPS, everything they used to do for/with her. So, what can the good parent do with no lawyer? The child said if she's forced to go this weekend she's running away. They need help now! PLEASE ONLY GOOD, SERIOUS ADVICE.

About 7 years ago an ex girlfriends lawyer served me with paper to relinquish my parental rights - I responded by asking for a paternity test becasue if the child is not mine then how can I give up parental rights. Never got a response from the lawyer even after trying several times. I tried to contact ex girfriend and she would not return phone calls, emails etc. Then I learned she had a new boyfriend. About 2 months ago I got served with papers for child support and paternity from the state. I requested a paternity test (which I am awaiting results). Now I am being served with papers from her EX husband wanting visitation of the child saying he is the childs only father etc.... I think the reason she did not press the paternity 7 years ago is because I refused to sign the papers to relinquish my rights and would have parental rights if the child was mine (visitation etc). Is there any way to prove that she denied me my child for this time intentionaly?????

I am a Christian and I hate the thought of war. I understand that there is a need to eradicate terrorists the world over even though I don't agree always with the way Governments go about it. For a long time I have agreed the way Israel have been protecting themselves but no longer. Israel have now invaded Lebanon killing many civilians, children among them without any proof that Lebonon have backed terrorists, in fact they have been at peace for six years now. Is it time America stopped backing Israel and gave more presidence to their neighbouring countries?. Or is it time we took up arms and knocker some sence into all those countries?.
