Be honest. Be brief. Speak Clearly.

Of course you don't plan to lie, so being honest is hardly a thought. But be brief. Say what you need to asnwer the question and only what you need to answer the question. Don't go into any 'extenuating circumstances" unless asked to do so. Unless your lawyer is a total boob, your extenuating circumstances are already in the court record. Speak up, Speak Clearly, and don't mumble. Pronounce the words clearly and if at all possible stay away from ebonics. "We was this" or "He do dat" do nothing to help your situation.

Refrain from vocal muminisms such as "You know" and "Like he was all"
