My buddy has a big plot of land, and he want me and some friends to come over to camp out and make a bon fire. We also plan to set up tin cans to shoot them for fun. He has never done this before, and I am wondering if either of these activities are legal? It is his land, and his neighbors said they don't care.

I commited theft against a former employer (a bank). I am on probation and am required to pay $8000 plus by January. I am on probation until then. However, I have not been able to pay the required $500 per month. I have paid about $2700 back. I am working and have followed the other conditions of my probation. I just cannot afford to make the payments.

I THINK, THAT THE SISTEM WITH THAT CONSPIRACY ISSUE IS NOT WORKING OUT TO WELL BECAUSE THEY MAKE PEOPLE TALK WITH ALL THE YEAR THAT THEY GIVE THEM,AND THEY DONT THINK ABOUT WHATS GOINT TO HAPPEN LATER WHENT THE OTHER PEOPLE FIND OUT ABOUT WHAT HAPPEND. THAT REALLY CAUSES A LOT PROBLEM TO OTHERS FAMILY. THATS MY OPINION. PLEASE TELL ME YOURS.

My landlord needed to enter my apartment to make repairs. I gave her permission, but also told her I wasn't going to be there. Before I left she checked her spare key, and realized it didn't work. She gave me some $$ and asked that I make her a copy while I was out. I let her in as I was leaving, told her I would make the key, and to lock the door when she left.
When I got home there was a note taped to the front door (for anyone and everyone to see and read) that says "We have put a new door handle on, so you can pick up your new key with me anytime" and left the front door unlocked! I haven't found anything missing (yet) however, there are things out of place that she would have had no reason to move while inside. What do I do?

Should there be any abridgments to free speech? Slander, hate speech, and inciting violence are currently not protected... should they be? Why or why not? I'm looking for well-thought out descriptive answers. No, this isn't for homework.

Our old church sold the biulding we had & after paying off the mortgage they had over $800,000. The pastor feels he should get a lump sum from this as a retirement package. As far as we can tell he is looking for around $200,000. While we were still at the chuch & on the board we took good care of this man and his family. We paid him around 35K and we actualy gave him the church parsonage & continude to pay the mortgage & all utillities. Once the parsonage is personle property it gets taxed we paid that too & all property taxes scinc hes owned it. We gave him a car allowance & pay all the insurance gas maintainence repairs. Medical & life insurance are allso provided. On top of all this we set up a retirement package for him. Now he says he was never given a retirement plan. Imajine if you could put all the bills we paid in your retirement. His current board wants to give it to him 200,000 How can we stop this man from taking what was given to do the work of the church

It's really stupid what happened, it had something to do with a post on Yahoo's message boards and certain top officials we are quite familiar with.

It's a pre-trial diversion program by the Feds...I don't think I committed a crime, I think it was free speech. However, that's not what the authorities think I guess...I was not serious at all.
