I always thought it was 8years but, when i looked into i discovered that there is NO legal age limit which siblings of the opposite sex can share a bedroom in the UK. Although at around the age of 8 most children wants their own space and would feel very uncomoftable at sharing room with brother/sister.
I have looked into this quite extensively as me and partner were considering adopting siblings but only having one spare room at the moment we obviously had to do lot of research first. We were also told by social services but it is recommended that they have seperate rooms by the age of 8.

Not for siblings there isn't (here anyway), but if it was at a school or something I think the age is 10.
Are you one of the siblings or the parent? If your a child and you don't feel comfortable then talk to your parents and they'll understand, and if your a parent then at least put up a curtain or something in the middle of the room. And if your neither then ignore me!

Here in the UK I believe the council moves families who are in council houses into bigger houses when one of the siblings reaches 8. So they must have done some psychological research to come to that decision. I dont think it is illegal for them to share i think it is just advised as that may be the age that they become more aware of their bodies.
I had some friends who had a boy and girl and they shared well beyond that age, they were in a council house and the council offered them a bigger house but they refused as they liked where they lived. They were just told to come back if they changed their mind.

There is a legal age limit, but it only applies if you get Goverment asstistance. I would call you local child protective office and find out. The age is really young, it sure as heck isn't 9 yr's.

no not in the uk, but it is a normal thing to move house or split up siblings when one of them reaches puberty,, that can be nine or ten for some kids,,or 14 or fifteen for others
in glasgow families of eight and nine used to sleep in a house with one bedroom and that is not that long ago my friend
people do need there own space but its not always possible to do whats required due to financial restraints
i assume you want your own room .. hope you get it lol

Not sure but stuff legality it should not be done above a certain age and 9 sounds right. Ideally not at all they need their own boy and girl teritory.

Not in Texas and I've never heard of such a law in any U.S. State. There are however several laws which cover the actions of the two, as well as the parents.

I don't think there's actually a "legal" age or law that states they must be in seperate rooms. But they should be seperated before one of them reaches their teens.
