I have no problem with those law abiding immigrants.

This is a terrible problem. Think of voter fraud. Think of the 20 billion dollars that states have to pay for this. Does the loss of our sovereignty me anything to you?

I hear that most illegal aliens are good people. Most probably are. Just because a person works hard, does not mean they deserve a free pass. I'm pretty that there are a lot of good people. Does that give them a right to not follow the rules?
Do they not know about fairness?

It seems to me that every single person that is an illegal alien made a conserted effort to become just that.

I worked in a poultry processing plant in Wisconsin... I know gross but paid the bills and took care of my daughter while I was going to school... anyways... I worked nights... 10:45 to 7:25 well... I worked on a line with 5 other workers, all who spoke Spanish (no English) and all who were from Mexico...

Now as I got to know them and took the time to learn their language friendships formed (I was also the only girl so everyone was always willing to help) now when Fridays would roll around we would all compare checks... we all worked the same hours, we were all hired for the same special skilled line...

Now on some of the checks people would have the same taxes out as me but 3 out of the five paid no federal and hardly any Wisconsin tax...I would be getting a 350 (on a good week) dollar check after taxes and other deductions and they would be making 500+.... how can people say that they are paying taxes when there is no way for them to collect on it so they are claiming high numbers of dependents (which means they aren’t paying hardly anything to nothing for those of you who know nothing about our tax system)....now this is just an example... How many people have seen this before?....

Also, I found out some real names to these employees and told my supervisor...isn’t it her job to report them to ICE or immigration so the company doesn’t get fined for having illegal work there?...

illegal aliens come to the USA and expect to have the same privaliges as our citizens?

2007-11-29 05:25:32 · 11 answers · asked by Noel 2

WTF???? Who gives a **** if some illegal immigrants scamper across desert in the middle of the night to work for $2 an hour. Its been going on for decades. There are 12 million illegal immigrants in the US, and probably Canada as well. A lot more criminals come to Canada..its a haven for criminal activity.

would like to know how suddenly this became even relevant to the ordinary citizens of the USA??

We need to make it easier for immigrants....America needs cheap labor...It's the new slavery...

I wanna pay $5 an hour or less for my domestic help.

You wanna come over and mow my lawn...yes, no

shut up then.

We need more immigrants.

I am asking a question, that I am actually curious about, I don't want anyone calling me stupid or preaching to me about anything, I want a serious answer to a serious question, and please no sarcastic undertones.
If we made it legal for anyone to come here and let them work and pay taxes, that would help the economy, and nobody would be doing anything illegal. Just give them a background check to make sure they are who they are and reasons they want to come here. What is the problem with that?

2007-11-29 04:03:55 · 24 answers · asked by Anonymous

I'm thinking these 4 things need serious consideration.
1. NAFTA
2. Better entry and EXIT program
3. Revamp some of the laws so there aren't any gray area's open to interpretation
4. All states need to be on the same page with regards to how and what illegals can or can not receive

What do you think? Is there anything else that needs to be considered?

Illegal Immigrant Rescues Boy in Desert

TERRY TANG | November 24, 2007 01:27 AM EST |

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PHOENIX — A 9-year-old boy looking for help after his mother crashed their van in the southern Arizona desert was rescued by a man entering the U.S. illegally, who stayed with him until help arrived the next day, an official said.

The 45-year-old woman, who eventually died while awaiting help, had been driving on a U.S. Forest Service road in a remote area just north of the Mexican border when she lost control of her van on a curve on Thanksgiving, Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada said.

The van vaulted into a canyon and landed 300 feet from the road, he said. The woman, from Rimrock, north of Phoenix, survived the impact but was pinned inside, Estrada said.

Her son, unhurt but disoriented, crawled out to get help and was found about two hours later by Jesus Manuel Cordova, 26, of Magdalena de Kino in the northern Mexican state of Sonora. Unable to pull the mother out, he comforted the boy while they waited for help.

The woman died a short time later.

"He stayed with him, told him that everything was going to be all right," Estrada said.

As temperatures dropped, he gave him a jacket, built a bonfire and stayed with him until about 8 a.m. Friday, when hunters passed by and called authorities, Estrada said. The boy was flown to University Medical Center in Tucson as a precaution but appeared unhurt.

"We suspect that they communicated somehow, but we don't know if he knows Spanish or if the gentleman knew English," Estrada said of the boy.

"For a 9-year-old it has to be completely traumatic, being out there alone with his mother dead," Estrada said. "Fortunately for the kid, (Cordova) was there. That was his angel."

Cordova was taken into custody by Border Patrol agents, who were the first to respond to the call for help. He had been trying to walk into the U.S. when he came across the boy.

The boy and his mother were in the area camping, Estrada said. The woman's husband, the boy's father, had died only two months ago. The names of the woman and her son were not being released until relatives were notified.

Cordova likely saved the boy, Estrada said, and his actions should remind people not to quickly characterize illegal immigrants as criminals.

"They do get demonized for a lot of reasons, and they do a lot of good. Obviously this is one example of what an individual can do," he said.

I just was curious. I'm not trying to intrude on your country or anything. I just was wondering how your laws was. I like the UK very much. Do you need anything to prove that I am related to her? I really don't have anything.
