According to an article in the Mail -

Britain's population could soar to 90million over the next 50 years.

The dramatic increase, fuelled by immigration and a rising birth rate, would add more than 50 per cent to today's population and put enormous pressure on housing, transport and public services.

Statisticians said the rise would be the equivalent of adding a city the size of Sheffield to the country each year.

The figures are expected to be announced tomorrow by the Government Actuary's Department (GAD) and were seized on by the Tories yesterday as evidence that a cap is needed on immigration from countries outside the European Union.

The article goes on to say that measures are in the pipeline to deal with expected immigration over the next decades including a 3 point based system to screen migrant workers. Why is it taking so long for them to take positive action? They are playing dumb ! 85% of the population do not want immigration on this scale.

Since me and my husband are not us citizens does any one of us have got legal rights to stay in the usa for children education as they are going to live rest of their lives there and would require us education?

I had a B2 visa that the us immigration dept. cancelled under I275 as they noticed that I was pregnant and have been deported. Can I apply for a fresh visa and what are the chances and how about if I want to accompany my kids for education since my husband does not want to go there? I am concerned about my children education only and am now in a bad situation. any legal opinion, consular advice, personal experience about how to reapply and get visa eithter through petition or other means is highly apprecited.

Maybe someone who speaks english can enlighten me for a second here. If Puerto Rico is such a small island, why does it seem that there are more Puerto Ricans in the U.S. than in their own home country? And while were on the subject, why is Puerto Rico a commonwealth of the U.S.? What does P.R. give back to us, besides hundreds of thousands of immigrants, that still wave their flag in our faces like they care nothing of our country??? It's like P.R. has a free pass to the U.S. for some unknown reason, and I really don't know why they deserve that.

There is a higher % of illegals in the population in the southwest and west coast than in the US as a whole. And the strongest negative effects of illegal immigration are felt there with the competition for low wage jobs and the stress on providing social services including schooling.

So the negative effects are most concentrated in the southwestern states and they are visible and the positive effects to the US like lower food prices and service costs and the taxes that illegals pay are more spread out.

When I was a child my brother married a Japanese woman while he was in the Navy, he was on duty in Japan and they married there. They moved to the United States. She was my best friend and very much like a dear sister to me. Sadly things did not work out between them and out of cruelness he sent her back to her home country. Now that I am older I have done almost eveything I could think of to search for her. Unfortunately I am not old enough to do everything like go to her country and try to find her. I need advice or something that can help me bring her back to the United States.

I recently found out that a bunch of guys who worked at a meat packaging plant got laid off in favor of some Polish immigrants. I have reasons to believe their illegal as thier working for a lot less pay than the American workers and most of them don't speak English. Accoring to a friend of mine when she was at the hospital to pick up a friend, she saw a lot of them in the emergency room and notice that most of them were getting treatment without paying any bill. At least that's what she saw.

So yeah, should I call ICE on them or something? given how illegal immigration is bad and all?
