The USA stole California and Texas from Mexico so when USA citizens start their rants about illegals do they ever consider who the illegals actually are?

LightningStruck, Texas was populated by Americans by negotiations by Houston with Spain regarding grants which were initially not recognised by Mexico but then accepted. The early white settles had to become Mexican, adopt Spanish names and Catholocism. Santa Anna was the Mexican Army Commander captured by Gen Sam Houstons Texas Army in 1936 after the war in which those settlers broke their settlement agreements. After that war of independance Texas declared itself a republic but it was never recognised by Mexico. Texas was siezed by annexation in 1845 and only conceded by Mexico after the Mexican-American war from 1846-1848.

It was taken from Mexico by force in the wars.

Badcock, California was aquired from Mexico by means of war declared by the USA in 1846, prior to that it was a Mexican colony, before that a Spanish colony and before that belonged to the Native Americans.

So what gives the present occupiers, who took it by force, and more right to consider themselves more legal than the last occupiers who also took it illegally by force from its previous occupiers?

Sorry, but the U. S. BOUGHT part of Mexico from a former Mexican representative. (Santana, I believe) That representative might have stolen the money U. S. paid for that part of Mexico., and it might have been a bargain, but, the U. S. did pay for it. So, spanish decent people from here are not illegals, or immigrants. Because, they were aquired along with the land.

Who are the illegals?

Hmmm, I guess probaly anyone who decides that they can disregard the laws of a soverign nation and invade them based on events in the past.

And yes, Baby Bush is just as guilty as any border hopping illegal, he has and is continuing to screw us and Iraq instead of bringing our troops home to deal with the ILLEGAL CRIMINAL INVADERS from Mexico.

So how do you want to fight this out?

Should I fight as a Patriotic American Citizen repelling the invasion from Mexico?

Or should I fight as a Native American who is still P*ssed about Spanish speakers being the first people to come to this continent and showing the rest of Europe how to destroy what was here.

Either way, I figure I have the right to fight this invasion, this is my country on a couple of different levels.

Sure funny that you mexicans did not want the land when there was just cactus and scropions in the Southwest. Now that Anglos made it a success you want it back. I had an old beat junk car once my brother gave me in the sixties and I spent hours and months working on it and when i turned it into a mint condition car my brother wanted it back. He tore his car up and then wanted mine. go figure

California and Texas left Mexico on their own! They were independent republics that later chose to join the U.S.
You may want to read a history book next time to save yourself from looking so uneducated.

Actually, that isn't how it happened. However, Mexico got the land to begin with the same way. Now it is ours and we built and fund what they are coming for. So we get to say who can come.
