To me , your statement doesn't make any sense. A good person would follow a law. I do have exceptions to this. If the law is unjust, they can practice civil disobedience, but that would mean that they would be protesting on the streets daily, rather than hiding from the law. THey also can't profit from their disobedience. That means they aren't even allowed to work, because there is a conflict of interest. Frankly they must suffer and make no personal gain when they protest. Frankly if they break the law to protest an unjust laws, they must follow a bunch of rules in how they break it.

Time and time again when you see family members and friends of criminals interviewed on TV.......just about every time...."not my baby, not my boy" or "she was such a good person and I'd never think she'd ever do anything like that" Or "no I can't imagine a problem there....they seemed like such a good family...played ball with the kids, took them to church, sold Girl Scout cookies..."
Heck they had a march here when they busted a known cartel leader (illegal) running a phony document ring and a murderer......he was such a GOOD person. LOL
So no......being "good" doesn't exempt you from the law.

Well said, the law only works when it applies to everyone equally. Illegal aliens are weakening Americas rule of law.

No, it does not. The law applies equally to everyone, regardless of race, creed, or good hearted-ness. One might also argue that if they were such "good people", why are they breaking the law in the first place?

I know there is good in all people. Serial killers have people who have witnessed good in them. Should they be above the law. Absolutely not.
It can also make a great sound bite.

(2)We will take this country from you
and the ZINGER......
(3)What would you do without us, your slaves?
Ho, hum.... What would I do? Get a bigger tax return!
