Headlines today:
"Gaza's embattled Hamas leaders are seeking a cease-fire"
Doesn't sound like talk from a group who says they won a war.

And how is that for diplomacy - Hamas asks the media to negotiate on their behalf....
In 1981 when the terrorists blew up the Marine barracks in Beirut - I was on top of the building three months prior - and in discussions with US Marine leadership - they were saying that a bomb could blow up in the street and before it could be put out - it would be shown on world media. This was the reason for the terrorist strikes - to be shown on the media.

Why does the media help terrorism like this?

With the primaries a short time away, I'm curious to see who everyone wants to vote for. Please tell us who your pick is and why. Obama is my pick because I believe that his vision for change and experiences in community service will be a big benefit to everyone, not just the elite.

Please no inflammatory comments, I just want to find out who you think should be elected. Thanks for your input!

I am so disgusted that they did that. Time magazine, names Putin man of the year? After he sends nuke shipments to Iran?

I would think they would completely castigate and verbally desecrate him vs make the world think hes a great man. Hes surely not.

I've done alot of research into becoming a MA, but theres a few things im not sure about. Is it true you need to be a leading hand MA to serve on a ship? And how do you go about becoming a leading hand MA?

I understand the pre joining fitness test but once in basic training is it possible to have the bleep test instead of another 2.4km run? also what are the other requirements to pass the basic training physical tests?

Where am i likely to be posted after finishing the 'on the job' training? and how long is the waiting list to begin basic training at the moment for MA's?

Oh and if theres any other tips you could give, please say :)

(sorry for the number of questions)

cheers

Is this really a violation, or just someone who doesn't like the answer?

Question:

What, in your opinion, is the most immoral act of the current Bush administration?
There is lots to choose from, but please name what you consider the worst: treason in outing V. Plame, lying about WMDs, torture, scuttling of habeas corpus, tying a webcam to a dog, shooting friends in the face, outlawing stem cells, vetoing all laws that help others besides his rich buddies, the rich buddy tax cuts, the 2001 hanging chads, etc.

Answer:

Not rounding up all the Dems and shipping them off to those FEMA concentration camps.

Now what part of the TOS or the Community Guidelines does that answer violate that the question didn't?

Many documents that describes the experience that has become her campaign's central point has been made
conveniently unavailable until AFTER the election.

The analysts and pundits on the Sunday talk shows are saying that Huckabee's increased popularity is simply because he's NOT Mitt Romney, whose popularity is simply due to the fact that he's NOT Rudy Guiliani. What are your thoughts on this? Are you FOR a candidate, or are you just AGAINST another?

Why is he attacking Mr. Huckabee? Why these paparazzi's and bad reporters are personally attacking Presidential candidates about their children and how they look? What happened to good old American culture? Being nice to each other with respectfully disagreements are all gone?

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23428524-details/Cash+for+honours%3A+%27Labour+deliberately+tried+to+conceal+secret+loans%27/article.do

Senior Labour figures and millionaire party donors broke the "spirit of the law" by "deliberately" trying to conceal millions of pounds of secret loans, a parliamentary report says.

The devastating assessment from MPs on the Public Administration Committee is the first official verdict on the cash-for-honours scandal which marred Tony Blair's final weeks in Downing Street.

The MPs call on Gordon Brown to urgently overhaul corruption laws because existing legislation is too weak and difficult to enforce.

They also exonerate Scotland Yard assistant commissioner John Yates.

The say he conducted a "meticulous and thorough" inquiry into the affair - despite criticism of "heavy handedness" from Blair allies

are there certain warrants that require an officer to bring you into jail? If you are pulled over while driving and have a bench warrant are the cops required to arrest you? What about a warrant that is not a Bench warrant? Can the cops make the decision to arrest you for the warrant or let you go? Why do cops only arrest some people who have warrants?

No, this isn't propaganda...it's an honest question. I've always liked hearing what McCain had to say, but quite honestly, I don't see him as a viable candidate.

What are your thoughts?

2007-12-19 00:29:04 · 4 answers · asked by Scotty Doesnt Know 7 in Elections

about the victims? I do care about the victims and their families a whole lot...I just don't believe that we have the right to take another person's life even if that person committed the most heinous crimes. Also there is always the possibility of putting an innocent person to death. So even one mistake is just unacceptable!...Killing should only be in self-defense. I think that life without the possibility of parole is a much better punishment for some of the worst psychopaths in our world. Why? people like that don't fear death anyway. People say things like "but what if they escape, what if they get pardoned and go out and do it again?'...well the chances of that happening are extremely slim. What we should do is let the prisoner decided if he/she wants to die and let them do it themselves! ...let's also force them to pay restitution to the victims and the people they hurt. It makes more sense like that!

We're lucky to have a president who is taking such important steps to help our country. Right?
