"Gaza's embattled Hamas leaders are seeking a cease-fire"
Doesn't sound like talk from a group who says they won a war.

And how is that for diplomacy - Hamas asks the media to negotiate on their behalf....
In 1981 when the terrorists blew up the Marine barracks in Beirut - I was on top of the building three months prior - and in discussions with US Marine leadership - they were saying that a bomb could blow up in the street and before it could be put out - it would be shown on world media. This was the reason for the terrorist strikes - to be shown on the media.

Why does the media help terrorism like this?

Hamas did not win the war because Israel will not tolerate that they will win.

From a completely unbiased point of view, I believe that Hamas has had a resounding victory globally.

The world asked Palestine to hold democratic elections. Palestine did this with external election monitors. The elections were conducted fairly and Hamas won.

It has been very interesting to watch those same countries who called for democracy, turn their backs on the elected government.
