The Netherlands and the Isles of Scilly were at war for 80 of the last 100 years (actually they were at war from 1651 - 1986). That has to be some sort of record.

The USA has bombed, attacked and invaded the most countries. An exact number is hard to find, but some calculations have it at an average of 1 country every 1.3 years over the last 60 years.

First answer is nonsense. The world is full of countries that have been as frequently involved in wars. Especially if you consider rebellion and revolution a form of war. Look at South and Central America, the African nations.

It's true France, Germany, UK and the US have been deeply involved in that giant corporate human scandal called World Wars... but that's a very specialized 20th century kind of production, mostly based on benefits to hard goods manufacturing.

The USSR- either direct or by proxy (and Russia before that)

Of course since they are "politically correct" to most media gurus, their actions never ever get called "wars"- and if they ever fight it is in "self defence" and "for peace"
