Kokomo Academy is supposed to be a treatment facility for troubled youth. My son, eleven yrs. old, was sent there but I have no direct information on the history of abuse, neglect, or any other negative issues that have occurred there in the past or present. I read that there have been molestation and beatings reported by an employee of Kokomo who is currently employed there. I need to know that my son is safe and not in harms way. It was also said activity has been done out of the sight of surveilance cameras, reported by the employee.

Didn't he say something like Christians are facists or something? Strange given the old geezer should be old enough to remember WWII... Anyway, all the people that I know that used to support him jumped ship after that.

OK, this is the situation;

I am right now a math/philosophy major, work study student, working, of all places, the philosophy office. Now, the secretary told me not to worry about coming to work today and tomorrow, yet I would still get paid. Please note, I am here all by myself, and I don't know if any professors are coming in or not. I don't qualify for any type of paid holiday, and my consciene is telling me to be here, that it would not be morally and ethically right to take the day off and get paid for it. I really do need to work, money wise, so I am here in the office right now. I know, I know, some of you are gonna say, well, if you are so moral, what are you doing on Yahoo answers? OK, already, I'm just trying to find answers to this dilemma. I am here though, rather than taking the day off and still getting paid.

I'm sorry, that's just how I am.

It certainly appears that the Clinton's have found a way around Presidential term limits. They've actually found a way for Bill to run for his 3rd term. Is he REALLY stumping for Hillary??

Does it seem as if the Democrats have dropped the ball and are no longer committed to getting our troops out of Iran?

Do you feel that the real issues are being discussed openly and honestly? Or is it business as usual and let's not upset the economy and bad mouth the country?

What changes would you like to see?

Is the U.S. Presidency for sale? Can an honest candidate of the people win?

I found a hair in a new toothbrush I bought.?
I bought a new toothbrush and I haven't even opened the package when I noticed a strand of hair. What is the best thing to go about this?

I'm tired of this crap. Once at tacobell I found a pice of plastic in my quesadilla, then once I bought milk that was bad but the experation date was good. I found hair in my food. Never complained just threw it away.

I'm tired of that nasty stuff. Well what is the best way to go about this.

A while back, my friend was exposed to the risk of HIV by a HIV+ guy who lied about his status and fully engaged in unprotected sex. Records show that he knew about his positive status because he'd tested positive and already received counselling for it 2 mos prior to the encounter.

Thankfully, my friend turned out negative. However, we wonder if this guy might be a real danger to society with the way he deceived others. My friend was lucky, but this guy's new girl might not be as lucky.

What would you do? Should my friend press criminal charges against him, or would that be pointless? Which charges would this fall under...e.g., "bodily harm"? Should she "move on in life and forget," or would this allow him to then go and have undisclosed unprotected sex with other guys and/or girls? How would she go about doing this?...they live on opposite sides of the country from each other.

Blacks claim that the democrats are their party yet they are more blacks in higher positions than democrats. clarence thomas is the only black supreme justice. George Bush made Colin Powell first black secretary of state and Candoleeza Rich first black woman secretary of state. I think that the republicans would choose one of these candidates in 2012 if they lose to democrats to get more black southern support.

I read a few weeks ago that Michigan was being "penalized" in some way for moving up its primaries to January 15, 2008, which would be the 3rd primary -- following Iowa and New Hampshire. I even thought I read where the penalty might be not to count this primary. This would obviously hurt Hillary Clinton, who's way ahead in this state but engaged in a dogfight in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Anyone have more information about this?

I see this happening all the time in the american political arena. It just seem that it is easy to talk about peace and sanity, but when it comes down to crunch time, it seems the forces of darkness always win out..no matter what was said all along or what the people said in an election ..etc....why is that? It just seems that whenever you think you have the warmongers in corner and sanity is about to surface, that a few slogans can be repeated, a few alerts announced and a few overly optimistic generals spew some misinformation and bingo....we are signed on again for another 6 months.
