I think so. He uses God and religion to advance his presidential campaign.

Either that, or very cynical and evil, using religion to buy votes.

Not that he's the only one who's done that.

IMHO, F*ckabee is a d!ckhead. I hate that guy.

A few reasons why this guy has no place in any public arena and should get a job at a local library reading stories to small children:
1.Does NOT believe in evolution.
2.In 1992 he advocated a quarantine on AIDS patients...1992, not 1982.
3.Staunch anti-gay views that border on Salem witch trials.
4.Believes that God has helped advance his career.
I won't get into my personal beliefs on God, but if there is some omnipotent, omniscient force in the universe I can guarantee you it gives less about nothing in all existence but Huckabee's career. This man is an embarrassment to rational thought in America.

Totally a nutcase. The ignorant ones are the ones who support this guy who doesn't believe in evolution, and is so beholden to right wing evangelicals that he let a serial rapist out of jail because it was an evangelical cause celebre, only to have that serial rapist rape and murder two more women.

His kid captured and lynched a dog from a tree while at Boy Scout camp and he used his governor's power to get it covered up and fired an aide for not doing enough to cover it.
He is just another nutcase religious zealot who should not hold high office.

Yippee! Great presidential material!

I don't plan on supporting him for a multitude of reasons but to have someone sincere about their faith beats the crap out one that wages a war and claims he has been condoned in it by his heavenly father. I do believe the voice that guides Huckabee is from above. Bush hears voices too but it's not from where he claims.

Not really it works for some people, sad but true. If you want a different perspective on the candidates try listening to or reading about what Dr Ron Paul has to say.

I disagree with both assertions, but just for argument's sake, let's imagine he does use God and religion in his campaign. How does one arrive at the conclusion he's "an ignorant nutcase" from that? The man is a minister. Would you expect him to check his faith at the door?

Yes.

Evolution is a simple theory to understand and is supported by the Catholic Church. If Huckabee doesn't believe in it, then he has no business being President.

Not to mention that he has less foreign policy experience than all the other GOP candidates combined.

Obviously, he is pandering to the people of Iowa. Anyone who believes the word of the bible word-for-word or refutes evolution needs to go back to college. I'm sorry, but we can not advance our society under the guidance of religious zealots.

You mean the way ignorant nutcases on the left attack God and religion to advance their campaigns?
