We are still a strong and powerful nation and always will be. Be proud to be an American. Reach for the stars and ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. Don't blame others for the lack of pride you feel. Take responsibility for your life. It's in your hands. You can either sink or swim. It's your call. I am not saying these are not difficult times.

why to show finger at somebody, somebody? You, me and all of us are contributing if not equally, but in some form or other, to the down fall of our country"s pride. We throw rubbish here and there, expect money without hardship, envy known peoples progress and pull them down, criticize the good work of others(do not appreciate), passive to superstitions etc. The true culprits are the so called netas.

Each individual American. If people started taking more responsibility for their actions, then a lot of silly stuff would go away.
Also, I can't speak for the rest of you, but the President does not dictate the pride that I feel for my Country.

We Indian voters are responsible because we elect
UN educated, criminals, and persons who are responsible for creating hate and division in our society on the line of religion, cast ism, and regionalism.

I am very proud of my country. Americans generally get it right. It is our government that is embarrassing us and we can change it out in November!
