I was just wondering how many Americans actually support the North American Union which is being put in place behind the scenes which will merge Canada, U.S., and Mexico as one union like the EU or European Union. This may be why the borders are wide open with no real incentive to secure them, also maybe why the U.S. dollar is equal to the Canadian and Mexican money so we may have the new Amero as the new currency for all 3 countries. WHEN, not if this happens get ready to lose your country as the bill of rights will be gone as well as the constitution and our sovereignty. I am not makng this up, look it up for yourselves. America is doomed and you people let it happen. Go back to sleep, watch your teen idol show, or whatever else you were doing in your happy little world.

Murder in most of countries is punished by capital punishment . but what makes it worse is that it is not the right of the family of the victim to decide if the killer should be excuted or not but the law makes it the right of the state . to carry the punishment or not .
in some Islamic countries they have what they call blood money . the family if they want can negotiate pardon for money . i think this kind of system is not bad if adopted . Michel Jackson bought his way out in child moestation , why couldn't for example O. J negotiate his way out instead of denial ? .at least we could have known what happened .

I work at a restaurant, and on Friday, the female companion of one of the cooks asked me if she could talk to me, so I led her outside. Once outside, she grabbed me by my arm and put me against the wall and got within six inches of my face and called me everything in the book, because she suspected me of fooling around with her boyfriend. Partway through her ranting, my supervisor came outside to where we were, and instead of telling her to back off, he stood there and watched until she finished. I feel slighted by the fact that someone in a position of authority allowed one of his employees to be assaulted and verbally abused by a non-employee, and he didn't do anything about it. What are my legal rights? I want to file a complaint, but I'm having trouble finding the laws that apply to this situation. Can anyone help me?

When she made this promise, to get votes in 2006.

Promise: “Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices…join Democrats who are working to lower gas prices now.” – Then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Press Release, April 19, 2006

Broken Promise: “The average price of gasoline hit $3.218 a gallon Monday, up a stunning 11.5 cents the past week and just half a penny shy of the inflation-adjusted record, the government reported. The average is almost certain this week to pass the inflation-adjusted high of $3.223, recorded in May 1981 by the Energy Information Administration.”

Maybe someone who speaks english can enlighten me for a second here. If Puerto Rico is such a small island, why does it seem that there are more Puerto Ricans in the U.S. than in their own home country? And while were on the subject, why is Puerto Rico a commonwealth of the U.S.? What does P.R. give back to us, besides hundreds of thousands of immigrants, that still wave their flag in our faces like they care nothing of our country??? It's like P.R. has a free pass to the U.S. for some unknown reason, and I really don't know why they deserve that.

on their toes.

I am a corrections officer and was just looking to see if there are any other COs, past or present on here who can tell me little things they always did to keep the inmates on their toes.

The jail I work in is direct supervision, so I am dealing with the inmates face to face on a regular basis.

So, if you have any stories, advice on how you did things, or even suggestions please do tell.
