Because it had koytes....oh you mean the Kyoto protocol.Well it was a bad deal for us.Maybe we should kill all termites.Since they add more methane than any animal or insect.
Death to all termites they are the true cause of Global warming, heck they even spread to Mars that could be the reason it's warming up also.
Better stay in school you need to learn spelling.

The koyoto treaty is a scam to level the economic playing field.
Signing would be damning to current way of life in the USA and give less productive nations unfair advantage.
The British may be fooled by the Blair and Brown great eco-rip off but it would be poltical suicide for an american administration.
May I also clarify, the cream of the worlds scientific experts on the subject of gobal warming ,catagorically state that mans contribution is negligible. The education we get here in england comes straight from the government. The enviroment is just the latest weapon that Brown is using to beat more tax out of us and further oppress us.

Because for some reason we cannot get any politician; liberal or conservative to commit political suicide.
The authors of Kyoto have admitted that the protocol is as much about leveling the playing field as it is the environment. In another words it is an attempt to strengthen other economies while weakening the US economy.
If Kyoto was truly about the environment then why are India and China excluded from having to meet the standards.
Are their pollutants not causing "global warming" like the others.
Kyoto is a scam and every single politician in the US knows it.

The United States has signed the Kyoto Protocol, it just hasnt been submitted to the Senate to ratify it. This isnt all W's fault either. The USA has some good gripes about it, mainly China and India are pretty much exempt from it. Their are long drawn out debates about wether the US should ratify it or not, but until the US concerns are resolved, we'll just have to wait until the new treaty comes out, soon.

Why is the US the only nation to plant their flag on the surface of the Moon?
If the other nations jumped off a bridge, would you?
We didn't get to be the greatest civilization in human History by blindly following the lead of the lesser peoples

You are misinformed. The US has signed the blasted thing. It has not, however, been ratified.
Incidentally, are you indicating that Kazakhstan has ratified it?
Global Warming is a myth.

Because we aren't stupid enough to hamstring our economy for "junk science", and thank God we have SOME people in DC who can see the BS quotient in that ridiculous "treaty" that lets the biggest polluters in Asia get off, and our country get screwed !

"...leaving the U.S. as the only ***INDUSTRIALIZED*** country not to have joined it..."
Read the damned report again, this time with your Bash- America-at- Every-Opportunity switch turned off.
And are you so innocent and naive as to actually believe that all the nations that do sign the Kyoto Protocol (..or as you spell it, 'koyte'..) are going to follow it, or even had any intention of doing so in the first place.
You haven't been around long, have you..?
