I believe it was the French that first went PC. Back in the 1800's they started calling their bums, the "Leisure Class"! It worked for a while then burned out as they went back to calling em bums. In the early 1990's in our USA some entrepreneur capitalized on the PC "business" & came up with a way to pocket some more federal reserve notes for himself. He coined the phrase "homeless people" to replace the then used word..."bums". Presto! The bums now had a dignified sounding title & a "cause", & the entrepreneur had a "reason" to ask Uncle Sam for "free" financial aid to help put a roof over the bums heads. Of course the entrepreneur had to be paid & of course the bums are still panhandling at the intersections! We the taxpayer pay for these "schemes" with our sweat thru unrepresented taxation. I'm voting for Ron Paul in a hope to end these schemes & squandering of our hard earned federal reserve notes thru mindless taxation.. Are you with me for Ron Paul?

My mother-in-law hit our car and there is about $1000 worth of damage. My father-in-law is dragging his feet paying us....he is saying "i'm not sure if I'm going through insurance or out-of-pocket." Basically he keeps flip-flopping back and forth.

I want to be fair to my wife because she is handling this, but I also want our car fixed. The accident happened almost 3 months ago and it is still not fixed, and he has not paid us. One other thing to add is they took on two mortgages....so they are a little tight right now...but really, that is a choice that he made...call me hard-hearted.

What can I do or say that is diplomatic that will get results, get the money for the repair, maintain my relationship with my wife, and move on with our lives.?

The American dream has been something the rest of the world has wanted for themselves for a long time. That is one of the many reasons we have so much imigration, both legal and illegal.
If we adopt the same socialist programs as the rest of the world, don't we become like the rest of the world? What happens to the "American dream"?
I've never heard of "the swedish dream, or the Danish dream!".
Why would we want this?!!!

Don't we have enough people here..and aren't most countries able to develop like the USA did years ago? This is not 1880. Why do we have to be the country everyone runs to. The melting pot days are over.

I am accused of being a "sad person" delusional and I was watching a documentary W5 and they showed an american woman who was raped and she was told to go into the room and get her own evidence. There was absolutely no support from the cruise ship and this was a very well known Cruise line. They also showed another woman who was raped. Then they showed a girl that was last seen on a cruise and disappeared and her father knew her last thing she did was she was on a cruise. The head of the cruise line on the show said yes we document rapes but legally women have 0 recourse as the fault leads on the next port rather then where the rape took place. One man who worked the cruise line saw a man who he knew was found guilty of rape, be rehired on the same cruise line. They said the people that work the cruise ships do not consider rape what we American and Canadian women consider rape so they do it. I have yet to see anyone explain what makes her an experienced candidate. What is her experience that qualifies her to be President? Would she even be a serious contender if her last name wasnt Clinton?

Oh and having ovaries does not qualify her for President any more than having testes qualifies any of the other candidates.
