The trend lately among world leaders has been to declare themselves dictators for life. Putin, Pakistan, Venezuela have all done it this year. I expect Bush to do it sometime next Oct. after the "Oct. Surprise" hits us and terrorism runs amok from CA to NY.
Don't count on an election.
Look for martial law.
Communications/TV will be controlled.
Forget the Internet.
Banks will be open sporadically.
Detention centers in the Midwest will be full.
Gas will be $5.00 a gal.
Blackwater USA will be in the streets.
Businesses will be shut down.
Looting will be rampant.
Airlines will shut down temporarily.
Forget ATM's.
Cell phones wont work.
And thru it all, Bush and Cheney will suspend elections, continue ruling the country, congress will rubber stamp everything he wants. Any congressmen/women who dont go along with him will be held in protective custody.
Gitmo will be overflowing with Americans.
I dont have much optimism for the country for the next
5-10 years. Bush and Cheney are too dangerous and we are too naive to think they're just going to wander off to Texas and back to Colorado with their tails between their legs, slap eachother on the back and say, "Well, we gave it our best try!" and head off into the sunset. Forget that! They wont leave that easily. They'll do whatever it takes to remain in office even if that means provoking another terrorist incident worse than 9/11. Dont put it past them. And there's nothing we can do to prevent it or prepare for it.

George H. W. Bush can run again. George W. Bush can't because he has had 2 full terms as President in which he was elected, both times. Get over it, grow up and move on with your life.
By the way, as I have said before, had Gore won Tennessee (his home state) in 2000, Florida would not have mattered, because Al Gore would have had the needed electoral votes to get elected, and would have been President in 2000.
It is time Democrats quit blaming Bush because they can't get a decent candidate, that can win.

Wasn't actually elected, huh? I'll never understand the "logic" of the left-wing...Seriously, do you guys just push aside common sense for your agenda? If so, you should stop because you are making your party look more foolish everyday...
