My son was arrested and now has a felony assault charge over a simple stupid arguement between he and the mother of his child.

When they were still living together (Keep in mind they were teenagers- she 17 he 19) they got into an arguement because he stayed out and she thought he was cheating on her.

She started slapping at him and he shoved her backwards to get her to leave him alone and she fell onto the coffee table, but bit her own lip on the way down. When the cops came (neighbors called because they heard her crying and thought he was beating her) they saw her lip bleeding and just assumed he punched her in the mouth and wouldn't believe her when she said he just shoved her. Then they called in counselors that brainwashed her into believeing he was abusing her and got her to testify against him in court.

So now his life is ruined because some cop didn't listen to the full story and her brain is warped because counselors jumped in where they needed not to be.

I am 35 years old. I'm in good shape and I have a college degree. I am conversant in a second language. Would I qualify for an age waiver so I can obtain an 18x contract and try out for SF? By the time I finished Basic and AIT, I'd be close to 36.

seem to suggest (some not all) that the owner's of homes affected by these disasters should have known better and were foolish to live in that area. Are the people who live in "border towns" subject to the same logic? It would be a reasonable assumption that illegal immigrants would migrate to the closest U.S. city or town? Thanks. This is a debate about logic . . . not immigration or natural disasters.

Senate Armed services oversight committees are made up of senators and House armed services oversight committees are made up of congressmen. Do these oversight committtees receive briefings on classified projects? Like the U2 spy place, SR-71 blackbird, the stealth program for F-117 and the spy projects? Or do only the president and the secretary of defense know about them?

that is ludicrous. and the response time is still slow for these claimants.

Is it because they want a return to the "good old days" under Jimmy Carter?

Keynesian economics tells us that money is based on the perception of market value. The more stable a government is the more the money is worth. By electing a Democratic Congress the people of the United States created an antagonistic and unstable government.

Money is a liquid asset and until 1933 money was based on the value of Gold. In '33 we went to a semi-Keynesian economic system where the government backed the money, but, the money supply was based on the amount of Gold the US government has.

In '70 we went to a pure Keynesian economic system where the amount of money is totally dependent on the stability of the government.

Governmental stability = money stability.

Withdrawal from Vietnam in 1975 = dropping dollar since the world perception was bad US government.

Withdrawal from Iraq = dropping dollar since the world perception would be bad US government.

If he will ever be brought up on war crimes. My question to you is this: Are we ready for the "proven" liars who used to be in the white house to return?I suppose that when the world came crashing down around us on September 11 one of the real benefits such tragedy left us with was that there was no need to be reminded any longer of the unseemly deceit, acts of marital infidelity, the brutal use of absolute power to bully the press, and worst of all having our leaders point their fingers at us and boldly tell us untrue things - merely to save their own hide. If Hillary Clinton becomes president - get ready for everything we hated about our government to come springing back to life. The now thrice confessed to manipulation of questions by the Clinton camp as it related to campaign rallies, or even supposedly non-partisan debates took us back to the reports of the same type when the "charming Clinton" was the candidate.

With all the information available and the exposure global warming has received ... is there a good case that those who vote Liberal are voting against the environment and the human race? Are Liberal Voters committing a crime against Humanity?

See this accusation of extreme negligence against Howard from the Greens:

Australian Conservation Foundation executive director Don Henry says the IPCC report shows Australia needs to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 80 to 95 per within 50 years... if Australian authorities take drastic action now, some of the predicted devastation could be avoided. "We require a cut of our emissions between 80-95 per cent by 2050 and somewhere between 20-40 per cent by 2020," he said.

"So we can't muck around - we've got to get going. I just make this point: the science is now in; it's terrifying. Australians desire to act - we desire action; all we require now is political will"

If you can't afford routine furnace maintenance (which we all know is very cheap) and a carbon monoxide detector, would you really want everything that comes from your furnace to stay in your house? Sometimes, drafts are a life saver.

Your thoughts?
