I am accused of being a "sad person" delusional and I was watching a documentary W5 and they showed an american woman who was raped and she was told to go into the room and get her own evidence. There was absolutely no support from the cruise ship and this was a very well known Cruise line. They also showed another woman who was raped. Then they showed a girl that was last seen on a cruise and disappeared and her father knew her last thing she did was she was on a cruise. The head of the cruise line on the show said yes we document rapes but legally women have 0 recourse as the fault leads on the next port rather then where the rape took place. One man who worked the cruise line saw a man who he knew was found guilty of rape, be rehired on the same cruise line. They said the people that work the cruise ships do not consider rape what we American and Canadian women consider rape so they do it. They said these men are often away from their wives and girlfriend so they have been known to

I didn't watch the show but I know what you're talking about. My friend got flashed by a guy while on a cruise. What happens at sea stays at sea.

Here's a link you might like to read more into about. Especially Dianne Brimble (Australian who died on a cruise ship and was raped).

I personally didnt see the show but I have heard of assaults unfortunately. I have also seen or heard a documentary on murder on the high seas. There was this man who was drunk and washed overboard mysteriously, and I have also heard of another beautiful red haired woman missing on a cruiseship. I think you have to be careful and not get too friendly with the cruiseship staff. That is where I have heard there is trouble.

That is interesting, but something I myself will not have to worry about, one I'm to old, and two I will never go on a cruise. So I guess I'm safe, but your right young woman should be careful when going somewhere, not only on a cruise.
