Not as of yet, but I can give you some insight on Fort Drum. It is a rapidly deployment duty station, which means someone is always in Iraq, going to Iraq or coming back from Iraq. Expect to deploy. While we are talking FT Drum, let me tell you about it. It gets very cold there. There aren't many trees so the wind is always blowing and the windchill factor can make the temps outside below 20 at times. There are two clubs, both of which aren't that great, but they are on post. They have no NCO club. The snow can fall all the way up to April and May. And when it snows, it snows. It snows so much that some days you won't go to work. The barracks are ok. Four of you will share two showers and one toilet, the sinks are in your individual rooms. All the chicks are on "new post", because the side you are on has all the Infantry and Field Arterllery, but new post is right up the hill so its easy to get to. The DFACs are pretty good. Especially the Aviation one. Get ready for the cold weather now, buy you some civilian winter clothes or you will suffer greatly.

you will find out when you check in. OPSEC always, you should know better than to ask such a stupid question on a public access domain like Yahoo.

If you got orders then you got contact info and possibly a sponser. Call him. Call your front office. Call your new 1st sarge. Call someone who actually knows. Why call yahoo answers?
No one will (OR SHOULD) help you here. opsec folks.

Wait until you get there and ask. Questions like this should not be posted on the open web.
