Anyone has to be better than the last one. I think Ruddie will be a good PM, and he's from Queensland so he must be a really good bloke.

Jessie we are only in a good financal position because of the world commodity boom and thanks to China taking our coal and iron ore. And Kevin speaks Chinese as opposed to Howard speaking lies and gibberish!

As of now there is nothing to be unhappy about. He needs at least a chance first. At the moment I am VERY happy

Strangely, I had a moment of anxiousness after the election.

I voted for Rudd and for the past 3 elections I had been voting for labor, but when I watched Jonny step down last night I had a momentary quiver.

I realised that the Liberals had stablised this country over the past 11 1/2 years and helped to propel us into prosperity. (I'm a young Australian and have never experienced a depression or lack of employment opportunities).

For that moment, I had a quiver of uncertainty - did I vote for the wrong government? Is our ideal way going to become harder through the decisions of the new government?

But I voted for Rudd because he was willing to take our good economy and launch Australia into a better health and education system. I have to believe that this bet will pay off.

i am sooooo unhappy!

kevin rudd will bring us into a recession. Interest rates will go over 10% again. just like last time labour was in control.

ill go ot school tomorow and there will be a teachers strike. not that im complaining about that....

but seriously. his policiy on affordable housing and a computer for every student in the country??? where is this money coming from?

ONE answer and that is US! - its quite ironic really. the lower class voters who voted him in, will suffer the most under labour.

thats my 2 cents
