What do you think?

they don't care if it hurts the country?

I despise Bush, but as I read about his upcoming Israeli/Palestinian peace talks I couldn't help the genuine optimism that he might SOMEHOW be able to pull off what no other President has been able to.

And I'm sure I'm not the only screechy, irrational Bush hater that feels the same way...in fact I can almost gurantee you that all but the filthiest of hippies feel this way.

Bush has screwed up so badly, I don't think anyone is worried that he will be "vindicated" anymore. Even if Iraq turns out ok at some point in the future, so what? Anyone who gets their facts from textbooks and experts and not Fox News or Rush Limbaugh knows that Saddam and al Qaeda hated each other and were never going to join forces, so if things go back to normal then what did we gain? We will have lost 4,000+ troops, 500,000+ Iraqis, spent 1.5+ trillion dollars, just to remove one of many murderous dictators from around the world.

So just stop it ok!!

After hearing news, of Jenna Bush announcing her engagement, on Thanksgiving, I do not know whether to be happy, or insulted. Why? Because, like too many of us commoners, my family has PEOPLE serving in the Middle East. In wars started by Jenna's daddy, George W. Bush. If Jenna is old enough to get engaged, then WHY isn't she SERVING her country? It is well-known that her daddy is DETERMINED to go down, in history, no matter how many American lives it costs. I have to ask: IF these so-called "wars" , on "terror", and Iraq, are so "critical" to America's future, why doesn't Jenna, OR her SISTER, enlist! For that matter, WHY does NO member, of the Bush cabinet have NO SERVING family? WHY do congress-people continue to support this "president", when they have NO FAMILY SERVING? I think that EACH reader should write the White House, AND Congress, asking "WHY do you keep sending OUR family, to their deaths, while keeping YOUR OWN families safe? W-H-Y?

I am getting a bit unnerved at the ignorance, if you people are going to assume so much and judgmentally label people, at least learn the difference.

Telling you how much he cares and shaking his head from side to side (no) as he said it. Very reassuring. By the way I am not a liberal voter just a realist who bases opinion on personal experience and then researches the facts from all sources extensively (not the media inaccuracies) before I make any comment.

As sad as the death of anybody is .....I don't agree with all the fuss that goes on when a police officer dies. Parades, thousands of others police officers/people shedding tears for somebody they didn't even know. It's ridiculous to me . What do you think ??

My brother is going to be evicted from his place soon (any day now), and I've heard that if you're evicted, anything in the place is taken. Is that true?
IF IT IS, my Playstation 3 is at my brother's, along with a couple games and movies he was borrowing.
He lives a while away from me, so I can't just leave for a day and go get it, I don't have time. He said, "don't worry, I'll bring it back to you" when he comes down in a couple weeks.
So basically, are my PS3/games/movies gone forever. That's not fair, what can I do about it?

If you support a presidential candidate who has only legislative branch experience (Biden, Clinton, Dodd, Edwards, Gravel, Hunter, Obama, Paul, Tancredo, and Thompson), what is it about their experience that attracts you?

I've been struggling with why they get support when the limits of their experience is voting up or down, being part of endless and fruitless discussions in committees that has no real power and poor attendance anyway, and sometimes proposing bills. I don't see what this has to do with executing the law, including managing a budget, enforcing national security, heading a military, planning emergency relief, etc.

Some responses, I've heard: "well, an executive wouldn't do the job perfect either." Yes, but the odds go down with people who don't know how to do the job. "Well, Clinton was married to a pres." Yes, but being married to someone and hearing them talk about a job is a long way from actually doing the job. Anything else?

She defended Cop Killers as a lawyer, made crooked land deals as a Governor's wife in Arkansas, wrote about how our country would be better as a Communist or Socialist society while in college, and was a First Lady. She isn't qualified to be a Senator - nevermind President of the United States. She shouldn't get a free pass because her husband repeatedly cheated on her - not for President.
