my son was in school and told this girl that she dropped her pencil. The teacher told him that that was sexual harrassment and called him a pervert, she told my son that she knew he was just trying to get this girl to bend over. She also gave him 3 days detention. My son upset went on to the next class. This teachers next class came in and the teacher told this whole class what a pervert my son was. (A boy from this class came up to my son after school and told him the teacher called him a pervert) I went to the principle and he just said that he was standing behind his teacher, he didn't even want to know what the boys name was that was in the class after my son. All he said was that the teacher did not say this and as far as he was concerned it was over. My son never asked this girl to bend over or to hand him the pencil all he said to the girl was that she had dropped her pencil. What I want to know is can I sue the school for slander?

I just sold my car to a private party from out of town. He only had checks so I took it. Now I wonder if the check is no good what will I have to do? Will it overdraft my checking acct? Will I have to sue him for the money or does the bank go after him? Is it illegal like would I get the police involved if it bounced? I am sure it won't but I am nervous now as I never took a larger personal check before...

A friend got a car title loan, fell behind, and the guy said they'd work with her and sent out a new bill that would have been due the 16 of november. Someone called from the company and she told them she was filing for chapter 13 later that night 11/09 they came and they repossessed her car. She filed chapter 13 four days later, and under chapter 13 law she is able to get her vehicle back. Unfortunately the car title loan company won't release the vehicle they think she is bsing about the chapter 13 and when she asked the towing company to retrieve her property they said she had to pay $35. Everything else I read on the internet said she doesn't have to because its against the law, so what's really the law? located in md

Ok, so im pretty sure i want to join the Army National Guard.
but im undecided if i want to list when i turn 17 or if i should wait, and go to college first then join. Many people say that i should go to school first because i will have more opportunities and such. Which i also agree. But then again i want to join so badly and as soon as i can so idk. i know i should go to school first because i have a lot of potential and i will be able to occomplish more.

Anyway i need some input from those of you in the service. which is the best way to go?

Face it we are a zillion dollars in the hole, poor folks are taxed a ton, with gas the way it is how can a minimum wage family even make it. I guess we could tax the illegal people when they send $500-600 out of the country every week. The MO there is ton live together so rent is very cheap.

Then the rich in the limited parternerships should be investigated and the CPAs and attorneys that put them in the tax scams be made to pay. The IRS should hire people that can spot this it's all over the place.

The the evil employers, like the giant hotel chains shold be forced to account for all cash out and pay the equivalent of the taxes that the 1099 workers would have paid, if they had paid by the letter of the law.

Then an import tax on all the illegal drugs that flood the country, they make trillions. Bookers have to have a Federal tax I.D. number so the drug dealers will have to get one also.

Those combined would bring in close 20 trillion right off the start.

Recently, the news has said that there has been an influx of undocumented Haitian immigrants coming into Canada. However, unlike America,Canada accepts them as refugees given Haiti's terrible conditions. They have Haiti as one of the most dangerous countries on their list currently and do not allow them to be deported. How do you feel about this? I have lived in Florida and New York City, two places with high Haitian populations. I am fascinated with their culture and history and have many Haitian friends. There were many ridiculous stereotypes about them though. Why? I really don't know. So Canadians, what do you think: should your country let the Haitians stay or no? What do you think of the current Haitian residents? Is this a good idea or not?

I was a victim to police mistreatment in the los angeles sheriff department. I am a 54 year old mother of ll who was detained in the jail after protecting my son in a gang merlee. while in the custody of the twin tower county jail I witness an inmate getting beat and signed a inmate complaint form against the officer, that night our housing pod was raided and being older person in the pod, I was used as a example. I was pulled from my bed while lying in A PRONE position in bed and assaulted. I was taken out of the unit and took to an isolated areas where I was chained to a backless stool and had a bag thrown over my head. I was taunted for 4 hours by the sheriff officers. the incident offended the standard of decency. I was denied my due process of a hearing, an investigation in to the hearing but was later charge with false chargers and put into lockup for 30 days. I have now taken my case to c ourt and it is pending the district court. Help stop this mistreatment. Help me stop this

I object to the how to vote pamphlets. We are supposed to be saving trees and cutting down on paper waste. If you don't know who you will vote for on the day the pamphlets are just more rubbish.

I answered a phone call and the telemarketer said I was in a drawing and needed to purchase magazines. So I agreed. $58 for 16 months and I had 30 days to cancel. I called 32 days later because of the weekend, and now they wont cancel. They stopped billing my card, but are going to send me a bill for $933. They also signed me up for discount group, and I have been calling them for 4 days, but no answer, just a machine that said leave message, but the message box is full. Can I take legal action for this? I read that a lot of these are scams. The magazine people are called Active Periodicals and the benefit people are called, United Benefit Advantage. Some one please help, and please no bad remarks, I already know it was a stupid move on my behalf. Just need to know how to fix it.

One of the President's 3 brothers (Jeb) was governor of Florida during the 2000 election - the state that votes for Al Gore are still unaccounted for.

George Bush won the 2000 election having only 47.9% of the popular vote and the 2004 election by a mere 51.6%

Bush's cousin, John P. Ellis, was the Fox News Election Team Manager when the network reversed their call for Florida in 2000. He had been on the phone all night with his cousins, Jeb and George.

From 1993 to 2000, another one of the President's 3 brothers, Marvin P. Bush was on the board of directors for Securacom, the company that takes care of security for both United Airlines AND The World Trade Center. Securacom is backed by the Kuwait American Company - an foreign investment firm.

Bush's cousin Marvin currently serves as an advisor to HCC Insurance Holdings which sells millions of dollars worth of "terrorism insurance".

In 2006, George W. Bush's Newsweek rating dropped below that of Richard Nixon's lowest.

Would you be willing to pay more in taxes to fund public orphanages for all of the attendant unwanted children? If not, are you willing to concede that you will eventually be forced to pay more in taxes anyway in order to incarcerate those unwanted children from poor backgrounds who, without a stable, loving family to support them, will almost certainly turn to crime? If so, can you admit that you would rather pay money to have human beings enslaved in cages like animals?
