Recently, the news has said that there has been an influx of undocumented Haitian immigrants coming into Canada. However, unlike America,Canada accepts them as refugees given Haiti's terrible conditions. They have Haiti as one of the most dangerous countries on their list currently and do not allow them to be deported. How do you feel about this? I have lived in Florida and New York City, two places with high Haitian populations. I am fascinated with their culture and history and have many Haitian friends. There were many ridiculous stereotypes about them though. Why? I really don't know. So Canadians, what do you think: should your country let the Haitians stay or no? What do you think of the current Haitian residents? Is this a good idea or not?

Haitians must be treated humanely because they are humans just like us. Deporting them back to their country would be exposing them to political chaos and poverty.
