I know, Blue. I'm with you 100%!! They grouch about land as if it's all that's hindered them from becoming the Second-Coming of the Garden of Eden!! Sheesh! Thanks for tolerating my odd-ball, sleep-deprived sense of humor, too.

An Excellent point, SLEW!!! I couldn't have said it more succinctly, myself. The PEOPLE ARE the country. Thanks.

LeighAnnD: You look like a dude. Are you ok?

Guy: Where is the love? Where the heart is; their HOME COUNTRY.

BonnieW: I'm part Native Am. as are most 8+ generation Americans. They are us and we are them. The northern tribes, however, were generally different from those to our south so there's no basis on the part of north-bounders to use this "Native to the continent" bullcorn.

Uh... Pedro? Your mush morsh thusly stated: "pene en la agujero del asno"...if directly translated means, "don't drink with walter". No, it's worse. It means, "grieve in the hole of the burro". Really. That's what it means. Are you sure YOU'RE okay?

The people is their country. I think we should give that back. At least the illegal ones.

The American Indians ran them and the Spanish out of America and fought a 40 year running war with the greatest country in the world. By the why they were treacherous to the Apache and Geronimo. they invited them for a feast and then blew many up with a cannon, but when the towns supply wagon didn't show up in two weeks they sent out 50 men, when they didn't come back they sent more, but the Apache ran them out. So here's the deal. First round up the 20-40 million that are not from this part of the world and ship them back. 3 million a year jump expired visas, also get rid of drugs and criminals, I 'm sure Mexico has a database or something to help peg them and ship them out. Then decide what to do the ones from the Americas, but give the Mexicans priority as they are the closet. If decided that it's OK to break the law then so be it, if decided they like millions of other Mexican Americas must abide by the law then so be it. I would then allow the Mexican Americans to vote that took the legal way to citizenship and I don't think they would be too favorable to that and doubt they would allow them to break the law, after they took so much effort and time to become Americans. The ones I know would not. One step at a time. Then when that's decided you can start to issue the visas again to those Europeans and the rest.

Imagine if it worked in California when Hunter put up a Small fence and cut crime and illegal immigration by 90%, what it would do for the rest of the country. By the way this would send a clear message to the hordes encroaching from South America and the world that no more free ride, nor amnesty, so wait your turn. Take care.

If I really thought that would be the END of it.....but it started as "we just want to work"..to...."bi-lingual education" with "must speak Spanish" to "hispanic rights" to "free college" to special rights and an endless list of demands. Even when you give them what they want....it's never enough.....so I know giving them back their so-called land would never be enough....it would just be the beginning. Besides.....if that area was all they really wanted....what the heck are they doing everywhere else? They've gone way beyond their Atzlan territory....heck they're heading Canada way. As their president said....where there is a Mexican...there is Mexico. What was supposidly their land has now become the entire continent....All North America....heck before long they'll find some reason to cross the straite and conquor Europe.....you know....get those Anglo-Europeans back.........it never ends.

My personal opinion is that we make living here Illegally virtually intolerable, make it so difficult to get in,keep a job,get healthcare or housing that no one would want to do it. Then once that's done we can begin discussion on Immigration reform,on our terms.

And if Mexico wants "their country" back I say let them come and take it. Personally I think it's time for everyone on both sides of the debate to just get the guns and settle it once and for all.

HAHAHA!!! If only they could take C&W ... AND leave!

But then, that stuff they play is rank! I'm sure it's the same songs I heard 25 years ago. Maybe with different words but I wouldn't know.

I guess some people like country (marie osmand). Just not for me.

Nope, they only owned the land for about 50 years. The Native Americans have far more claim to the land than Mexico.

Hell, Spain has more of a claim than Mexico does.

If George Bush doesn't declare "emergency rule" before the next elections, and moves back to Texas, then we should give Texas back to Mexico and seal the borders quickly so W can't get back in.

they have their country and we have ours. but say we did give Texas back. do you think it would make the corruption in Mexico go away or just give the Mexican government more people to steal from and more land to trash. and the illegal aliens would be swimming the red river instead of the Rio grande.
Its not "their " land anymore. it was fought over and they lost. period.
