...Perhaps Bush's LAST ally in the pointless, fruitless, ambiguous "war on terror", a sign of things to come ?

Australia threw that guy out DECIDEDLY. Isn't it clear that the entire world has finally rejected the destructive policies of George Bush ?

I really want to join the National Gaurd, but my parents are against this due to the fact that I am an Egyptian Muslim. They think I would be fighting "my people" and I don't see it that way. I think I would by being a translator I would be building a bridge between two countries.

What is your honest opinion on this?

It would solve the problem of overcrowding and we could bring troops home. I'm not talking about the rapists and murderers. Tax evaders and criminals like that.

In this forum (politics), I find myself looking for aswerers who can express themselves well, who do not condescend to others because of what THEY believe, and believe it or not, I like to read long answers that make sense.
How about you?

I just don't get why you people are happy to elect a left-wing communist and his red-headed clown sidekick to run our country! Are things really going that bad for everyone?

If Labor has failed to run the states, how do you expect them to run the country?.... ah, that's right.... we'll get someone who has no experience and a wishy-washy fake-ass smile, give him a team of radical unionists, a bunch of tree huggers, Muslim lovers and unemployables and let them have a go.

Good luck morons. Guess we'll see you lining up at Centerlink next year.

My answer was "too absurb to answer"
It was a ludicrous question! I do not believe there is much in comparison. That is my belief if you believe different, then we will agree to disagree. How was my answer offensive or didn't pass the smell test?

This comes from of the English documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle".

Many English schools are now forbidden from playing "An Inconvenient Truth" in classrooms. There are over 10 misleading mistakes in the movie and most of the "mistakes" look like they were put in the movie on purpose.

British Judge's ruling:
"Mr Gore's assertion that a sea-level rise of up to 20 feet would be caused by melting of ice in either West Antarctica or Greenland "in the near future". The judge said this was "distinctly alarmist" and it was common ground that if Greenland's ice melted it would release this amount of water - "but only after, and over, millennia".

Mr Gore's assertion that the disappearance of snow on Mount Kilimanjaro in East Africa was expressly attributable to global warming - the court heard the scientific consensus was that it cannot be established the snow recession is mainly attributable to human-induced climate change.

As stated - "The lessons are only the eternal ones: that wars won’t be fought as believed and won’t end as planned, but that adaptability, self-critique, and persistence, in an effort believed to be both right and necessary, will eventually prevail." It's great the surge is working beyond expectations

Does anybody really want Hillary Clinton for president ? She was a total and complete wimp with her husband, so she'd be a total and complete wimp with other world leaders and with terrorists . Besides, do we really want her sex -- crazed husband back in the white house ? He turned the presidency into a soap opera . Do we really want to go through that again ?

When talking about illegal immigration? I'm sick of hearing comments like "Were your ancestors from Europe 'legal'?" (I'm not even white by the way)

"Everyone here is illegal except the Natives Americans"

"This land truly belong to Native land until white people came and took everything..."

Blah Blah Blah!

Seriously people, this all happened HUNDRENDS of years ago! Get over it already!

Yes what happened with the Native Americans was sad and tragic, no doubt about it. It truly was a terrible period in our history, but c'mon now, it's seriously time to move on. Brooding and complaining about what happened in the past is not gonna go back in time and prevent it from happening.

Here in 2007, we have laws that you must follow. What's so difficult about that to understand?
