Truly, while there are some who think you are "taking our jobs!" and the usual mindless rhetoric, for the most part, most are simply upset that Mexicans are here illegally. I for one think they are wonderful people, with strong family ties and a sense of honor. We own a small car lot, and Mexicans are among our very best costumers. I think Mexicans have as much a right to be here as anyone else. Especially considering the fact that 99% of the population of America have immigrant roots. I think that laws need to be written to give mexicans a working citizenship, so that they can pay taxes and live a decent life without draining society as they are now.

It is the schools, not the tortillas that are my biggest problem. Look at LAUSD today and 30 years ago in terms of what it now offers OUR children.

And it costs $10,000 per child per year to educate a child k-12, and CA has just done a study that they need $5 billion more just for those who don't speak English and are poor, because they need even more intervention. CA has a $10 billion dollar deficit and won't be putting the extra money in and has already slashed services for our own children to fund programs for this group, many of whom are children of those illegally here. Yet they are once again saying if they don't get the money they will 'reallocate assets'. From whom, do you think?

Education is OUR children's future and we are footing the bill.

Well I -love- tortillas, but we have enough to share.

We have one political party in the US that encourages and exploits every kind of intolerance. Racism, nativism, homophobia, religious intolerance, xenophobia, you name it. They use these issues to divide Americans and to scare their half into voting for them. Immigrants, legal or illegal, are a prime target.

Since undocumented workers are -undocumented-, it's really impossible to tell how many are in the country. So they take the highest estimate and double that--who can say they're wrong? They hype up the crimes occasionally committed by undocumented workers and talk as if they were -all- murderers and thieves. They hugely exaggerate the cost to taxpayers of undocumenteds and ignore the benefits of people working and paying taxes and Social Security deductions who can't ask for benefits, or even police protection.

Yet despite villanizing these people to get votes, that party LOVES them because they work cheap, and American businesses LOVE cheap labor! They want workers they can exploit, treat like dogs, deny their rights, and undocumented workers are perfect. They work hard, they can't complain for fear of getting in trouble. And often you don't even have to pay them! What are they going to do?

They are destroying our school systems, our hospitals, receiving ADC among the many others they are exploiting, too many of them are hard core criminals and are filling our jails and accosting our citizens, their so called victimless crimes of fraudlent IDs and stealing the identities of our citizens, they are using our recources and our roads and water, it's not a never ending source and we are so tired of all of their rants and raves as they refuse to assimilate and follow our laws. They are a detriment to our people and our nation. And of course, the most obvious of all, they are illegal!Deport them all now!

Just read the paper or watch the news. The negative impact that illegal aliens have on America is profound to say the least. We don't hate you, we hate what you are doing.

We do not like anyone here in America that breaks our laws, refuses to assimilate, have no rights but demand rights that we have shed blood to have and then bash the country that feeds them by attempting to change our laws to benefit law breakers, and condemn the laws that protect our citizens as being racist and unfair that is a short version of why

You're joking, right?

Illegals rarely take the slightest responsibility for anything...least of all the consequences of mass-producing.

How are you going to eat when the tractors run out of fuel? Food-prices will skyrocket to pre-ag-automation levels. We'll begin to take care of our own, then. And we did NOT have large families starting at 13 y.o.

I don't hate anyone without a good reason. I just want you to all immigrate legally, instead of violating the laws and sovereignty of the US.
