Could in theory slavery be brought back? I'm not trying to be inflamatory, I'm just curious as to why the Corwin Amendment is in theory still to be ratified?

Many people cannot live without God. I cannot either. However, is God good to us, always good? [The Chinese and Indians have phylosophies not Gods and do not care.]

When they talk about their EMS providers? Do Americans really want to go down this road?

My grandson waited 2 hours for an ambulance with suspected appendicitis (the emergency doctor, in my presence, had said on the phone to the ambulance service that he wanted the child in hospital within twenty minutes).

A few years ago I intervened in a street fight between two teenage girls - the loser was having her head battered on the pavement by the winner. I called 999; the police took an hour and 40 minutes to come; the ambulance never arrived at all.

My mother-in-law, following a fall, waited a long time for an ambulance, following which she was not seen in A & E for 8 (yes, EIGHT) hours - a long time for an old lady in pain from broken bones to wait sitting on a plastic chair in the waiting room.

There is a high degree dissatisfaction.

Recently things have become abusive(my interpitation) and I wish to terminate my employment by him(he's an independant Farmer) I would like to have the rest of my salary when I quit him. Is he liable for that? I would like to get something on paper but that seems very unlikely.

I want to start a petition for the library..I want to be able to go on xanga and myspace without getting abandoned from the computer for 30 days..Librarians here are so mean and I was listening to music and writing on my xanga (before I knew that it wasn't allowed) and the librarians all you're typing way too fast to be listening to music..And she threatned to kick my brother and me out for him asking me a question. Any ideas how to start this thing? How to do it? I'll take anything..Also, does your library allow myspace/xanga/chatting?

May I Say That America, England, France, Persia (We're Okay Now, Just Have To Add You Because Someone Will Say That What About Them), The Haribu Which Later Became The Hebrew Have Somehow Enslave/Thieved Our Way Of Life, Our People, Our Freedom. You Even Took One Country, Ravaged Another, Insulted And Prejudiced Countries That Support Our Freedom From Outside Occupation. People Ask Why Are You Mad, Your Arab Leaders Made It Up And Lied To You How Would That Make Sense? What Arab Leaders, All I See Are Leaders Of Countries Fighting For Freedom. I Ask This Question So Other People Who Suffer From The Israeli Apartheid Or The American Devastation Can Talk As Well As Those Who Oppose Us

My husband deployed 9 months ago and I moved 5 hours away from Fort Riley (our duty station) to live with my parents. I went to the doctor for depression and she referred me to see a psychiatrist. He wants me to come regularly to see him and his therapist for the next 2 months and also wrote we a script for a prescription. What will tricare cover of this? Any of it? My husband said I need to call them and tell them I'm far away from a post and had to go to a civilian for coverage and they should cover it. Is this true?? Is there anything I need to do to ensure they pay the dr. bills??? Thanks

So I asked an ethical question; and everyone responded to it with the cliche "Socialized medicine won't work" answers. My question now is simple: can anyone ethically justify a society whose health care is based on HMOs?

Remember this current system isn't a system based on choice: you don't get to choose your doctors or procedures, the HMO gets to.

Also, this system may provide better service (something debatable), but that quality is unequally distributed.

Any ethical reasons that we, as a society, should keep the current system? Let's hear them, I'm really interested.
