Not really Twilight.
I post questions and know that regulars will answer to the best of their ability.
Others, well some post interestingly, Trolls, well they attempt to sabotage.
Arrogant maybe but matters not to me how many answers I receive, just that the ones I do from those I rate come in.

No really. Often, I will look at a question because the first part of it seems interesting. Then, upon reading the full question, I realise that it's not what I was expecting - or wanting - so I move on. Also, there's no way to tell if someone is reading your answer, or the answer of the poster before you. This system would give many false readings in these cases, and without any real benefit.

It makes sense to me to know how many people actually answer my questions, and how many stars I get, because this gives an indication of how effectively I have communicated my query. And if my answer was noteworthy, I get a thumb. To me, these are the scores that signify whether I'm being effective in this forum.

yes kind of but there's not really a lot of difference between them. Just a generic male and a generic female. Sometimes if there's someone younger I will have a younger voice for them or if I have read a lot of a particualr persons Qs and As then I might get more idea of what they might sound like.
