Jeez, And I Thought This Wasn't Necessary Allah Comes From The Arabic Al (The/One) Liah (Diety), Which Translates To The One And Only God, No Separate Gods, And If He Is False God Then Your An Infidel (Someone Lacking Religious Morals Or An Atheist), And If You Can Insult One By Using God You Too Must Be Saying The One And Only True God Is False.

Anyone who considers an entire group of people "Bad" is narrow-minded and bigoted. There are bad people in every group. To say otherwise is a generalization.

There is a difference between a freedom fighter, who only fights the military or occupational force of the oppressors, and a terrorist, who brings the fight to innocents. The terrorists generalize more then any other. They consider all Americans to be the same, and are cowards in the respect that they go only after innocents. Do "freedom fighters" do that, nomatter what side they are on, no, "freedom fighters" have some nobility left. Now, should I get angry when *anyone* is so cowardly and evil to attack innocents? Yes, and it doesn't matter what side they are on.

I don't hate all Arabs, I despise those cowards who falsely misinterpret the Quran, brainwash their fighters, and kill innocents.

Edit: Syrian Orthodox... Do me a favor for me and visit the nearest patriarch. Tell him your beliefs. He'll tell you to get out of his office.

Muslims believe that Jesus was a profit, thus, have not found Jesus.

Learn some grammar, and a bit about your own religion. Then perhaps we can have an effective discussion.

Edit Again (you're ignorance really is unending): Yes, Allah translated means "The One God", but that does not make Allah a true god. Allah is a false god. Muslims do not worship the same god as Christians, they worship another. Just because a pagan calls their gods the true gods does not mean that they are. The Cult of Athena in Rome 2500 years ago would have called Athena "The One True God" does that mean that they were worshiping the real god, no, it means that they were pagans worshiping a false Idol. Again, learn your own faith, and some grammar. Then we can discuss this, and perhaps you will understand what is really going on.

Most people don`t and your right in what you say about freedom fighters Americans seem to have a short memory
For 30 years they financed the IRA terrorists to bomb every major city in England because according to them they were freedom fighters .the bombing only stopped when America stopped funding it after 9/11.
Israel has been condemned by the UN and has more resolutions against it than any country in the world, nothing is done because America uses its veto every time .
most of the world sees Iraq as a crime against humanity ,the UN has called it the greatest humanitarian crisis in the world today .
Nelson Mandela is working to try to help Palestine because he said the apartheid there is worse than it was in S Africa

Perception. There is a young woman in Saudi Arabia right now in prison, facing 5 months incarceration for not being escorted by a male family member. The young woman was gang raped by seven men (who received I believe 9 mos in prison). In addition, she is supposed to recieve 200 lashes, which she will most likely not survive. It's one of many different stories that sway a persons view one way or the other. I for one will never understand how or why the women in middle eastern countries are treated the way they are. This is just one story, and I think most people have heard something negative, but this one just really touched me.

Because the liberal media paints it that way. PBS actually canceled a documentary about moderate Muslims, and how they're not terrorists, after the documentary was completely filmed. One reason was that one of the producers happened to be a republican. The other, logic would tell, is that PBS doesn't want the average American to understand that not all Arabs are terrorists, or that many Muslims actually speak out against terrorism.

Oh, and someone who leaves his children in the car and then blows it up at the checkpoint is a terrorist. There's no other term for it.

There is no easy answer. There is oppression, fear and pain on all sides. The human rights violations in the Middle East are appalling. The violence is appalling. The brutality and mistreatment of women and children is appalling.

If I meet an Arab on the street, I do not assume they are bad. I feel for their plight. I would not live in the Middle East for anything. I do not want the Arab wars brought to my soil. I do not want my country occupying Arab soil. I want safety and peace here and there. You make good points. I wish we would butt out of Arab business and worry about the problems in our own damn country.

Those who do are ignorant. The Arabic peoples are not " Bad ", but among them are Muslim extremists/radicals who cause serious problems and that results in a defensive prejudice from all non-Muslims. If any group says that if you are not of our faith then you should die that will, without question ,cause some nasty responses. I think, personally, that it is not JUST about religious radicals but some are power hungry self serving leaders who USE those people for their greedy purposes.

You are you own worst enemy.
It is very simplistic to blame everybody else for your situation.
By including America in your diatribe about how others caused your ignorance and backward evolution you show your own ignorance of your own history.

When the Ottomans joined up with the Germans in world war 1 there were no borders as exist today and the present day kingdoms of the M E owe their very existence to the fact that once the Kaiser and the Ottomans were defeated the winners drew the current boundaries of these countries according to what was good for England and France at that time and no one realized that oil would become the driving force in the world it is today.

Study your own history and get back to me.
READ for your self not self serving rhetoric but cold facts

It's media hype. They have caused Arab nations to be associated with terrorism, therefore the masses believe it.
America has become a culture of fear. The government and the media have joined forces to take away all civil liberties, by dropping the word "terrorism" at every turn.
It's much easier to control a nation that is in the grip of fear.

Also, there are so many things about the culture in the middle east that is very foreign to us in the western world, that it's easy to view them as "different". People tend to fear what they don't understand.

Please don't capitalize the first letter of every word. It's very annoying. To be honest, I didn't even read your whole question, it was hurting my eyes. I am just responding to the part I did read.

EDIT: Is this a question, or not? To quote a well-spoken YA member, this is not Yahoo Debates, or Yahoo "hop up on your soapbox". Take your inflamatory commentary somewhere else.

Islam has fooled most Arabs into following a violent evil false religion, and the words Arab and muslim are so closely associated in people's minds that most see them as the same, and fail to see that there are many Arabs who do not follow the false religion started by muhammad who started this war 1400 years ago. You have been lied to by muslims who blame Jews for the bad things they have done which has resulted in the terrible conditions many Arabs suffer from. The first foreign enemies to attack Americans engaged in peaceful commerce on the seas were Arab muslim terrorists known as the Barbary Pirates. America did nothing to prompt the attacks by muslim pirates, yet Americans were attacked at the request of Arab muslim governments who said they were doing it for their pagan moon god allah, who they have been fooled into thinking is the true God of the Bible. Wake up and smell the evil jihad. Ask Jesus to save your soul. He will if you let Him.

One man's terrorist is NOT another man's freedom fighter. This ridiculous saying is blatantly false.
The freedom fighters in Iraq are the people who risked everything to vote for a free and independent country - the terrorists, on the other hand, are targeting these people for dominance and control - they are, in all intent and purpose, fighting AGAINST freedom.
