You're hilarious, that would be a Kodak moment. Watching a cop being escorted into a precinct by a civilian, priceless.

First, 6'5" 325 pounds - you are morbidly obese and will NOT be able to take down a cop.

Second, most states require the offense to be a felony. Do you KNOW the laws? Are you SURE of what you're doing? I would seriously doubt you'd observe a cop committing a felony!

Remember, arresting you or one of your wanna be buddies is NOT a felony.

Third, like other answers, I'm calling BS on your question. You're probably 5'6" and 125 pounds. Might doesn't make right.

It is not your height and your big that could prompt you to arrest him. Remember he is law enforcer, the best to perform a civilian arrest is three vs. one. Two will do the arrest and one will act as a prime witness. The better is if you could ask as many people in your community to do the arrest.

Need to have a video coverage for evidence and submit to the higher authority.

A lot of people were doing it with their video surveilance to cops caught in traffic investigations.

YES, if you have the will.

Why are you telling us how tall you are what you weigh. It does not make any difference on the law. Except that it will look funny when you get tossed like a rag doll and get put on cops for public stupidity. When is the last time you saw someone make a citizens arrest?

Technically you are allowed to make a citizen's arrest on any individual that is breaking the law. You are entitled to use reasonable force to subdue the suspect once you have notified them of their arrest.
I'm not sure that arresting a cop would be a good idea. It's not that cops don't break the law, but they are good at manipulating the law and your arrest probably won't go well because his colleagues will actually be responsible to incarcerate him. You will find that the "buddy" system will kick in and you probably won't get too far with your arrest. It would probably be safer for you to lodge a complaint with Internal Affairs.
P.S. - your size doesn't matter, you don't have a taser or gun at your disposal like most cops would.

Depends upon how bad a beating that you want to receive? If you see an officer acting inappropriately, make a formal complaint to his / her supervisor. It is then on record then and will have to be investigated. At my department, once a formal complaint is made, it is investigated and our policy states that the person making the complaint WILL be notified of the results, no matter what they are.

Confronting an officer with physical force is only going to get you hurt, possibly the officer hurt, and you are going to end up being charged with a felony, no matter what your original intentions were.

Go ahead and you will probably see what 325 lbs looks like in a 5 lb bag. And other people, and we won't mention names because they like to hit the report button, can video tape it so that the officer can be cleared by two videos instead of just one. This way you'll have evidence from the police and the police haters.

You seem to like to make these "I can beat up a cop" posts. Do you have something bothering you from a childhood authority, perhaps your parents? Do you feel the need to make pretend a size/weight on an anonymous forum; to prove your own individuality because you feel to be lacking so?

Or are you just a prepubescent teen that is trying to seem "cool"? (Your size is not the right ratio to your height to seem buff, pick again). You can try, but make sure you don't get distracted by that MacDonalds.

how is he breaking the law..running a red light, shoplifting, raping someone? By your size alone he would be justified in stopping you, and since you are out looking for trouble, you are probably not ready for it. i would ask a lot of follow up questions to get down to your real issues, but in all honesty i do not care

Not a good idea. You, no matter your size will get hurt if you attempt to use force on any officer. It is rare that anyone wins one of those fights.

If you observe improper action by an officer, find his boss and report it.
