This is a petty, simplistic and illogical view of a major issue. An individual who conserves after seeing the film and becoming more aware of the problem may engage in conservation measures and help reduce pollution long-term.
Aside from that obvious fact, the more important issue of bringing political pressure to bear on addressing the problem of global warming depends on the actions of informed citizens.

With Algore and his type, it's "do as I say" and not "do as I do".
The UN, Algore and others want to interfere with our rights and our way of life.
I am all for becoming less dependent on foreign nations for oil, but when you are super rich and can jet around the world at a moment's notice, don't tell me what to do.
I have to budget just to afford to fill my gas tank for work each week, my thermostat stays on 66 in the winter and I am ferocious about turning off lights when I leave a room, so why should I feel guilty about "global warming"?
It's all a bunch of hype that is intended to make fatcats like Gore richer.

Al gore is interested in creating a religion for money and control I believe. When the rest of the solar system is warming also the movie carries no valid facts that we are causing that too.

To bring awareness to a perceived problem requires one use some energy and as such the price of that energy is the release of even more of what Al sees as harmful greenhouse gases .

Gore is a do as I say, not as I do pinhead. While both of his residents are far from 'green', his excessive use of private jets, and that mockumentary... lol, what a flipping chicken littleral ( play on words e.g. chicken little/ typical clueless liberal ) 9 yes 9 very important facts found to be FALSE in his delusional propaganda film, yet he still walks around as if he is the almighty himself. I guess he had to invent (lol) the Internet to push this diatribe.

Sure, go ahead and hide behind bashing one person. It's a lot easier than thinking about Global warming from a nuetral point of view.
His hypocracy does not invalidate a scientific theory. Science isn't like Politics. Science is based on logical thinking. Politics is based on sociological and economical thinking.
Sorry, but guilty by association doesn't work.

He justifies everything because he has bought his carbon credits (fron the company he owns) and encourages us all to do the same in the name of saving our plant (and, oh, making him richer, too)
