Hey, my bf starts on Monday with A-school in Chicago. He told me that the real schoolstuff starts at 26th. So why do they have to stay 2 weeks without having class? Could he come home for the next 2 weeks? He is in a hotel over the weekend, nect to the school and has no idea whats going on.
Other question: Is the curfew also on weekend or just during the week?
Thanks so much.

The military is in need of help, so why can't you just sign up? Instead of having to have this and that, and that and this?? I mean, if they are in need, why the obsticle course and requirements?

Just a question my friend asked and I thought I would see some opinions. :)

I have a lease in an apartment in Boston, MA and my landlord wants to turn our pantry into a half bathroom. The issues I have with this are:

1) The other "construction" they are doing, which started in the summer, has basically consisted of demo, and then been left completely untouched. I don't want my apartment to be in demo for the next 9 months.

2) I don't want construction people in my apartment with my stuff while I'm at work, which is their plan.

3) I don't WANT to lose more storage for a useless bathroom, darn it! The main reason we wanted the apt was for the storage!

Any suggestions? I know it's "their" house, but seriously.

As a War 2 Korea Vet. I feel a lot of people are missing the boat with the honor to the dead and or the living. Please don't misunderstand. They deserve all the credit they can get, particularly, the dead, and the ones who actuallyy were in combat, But my question is, whatabout the poor devils that came home in wheel chairs, legs missing, arms missing, sight or hearing gone. Does not really matter what, does it, They in my mind are the real heroes to be saluted Yes, in my mind I have two honorable discharges, from the Marines and the Navy, But my hat is off to those that are left as shells and we ignore.

Are cops allowed to mark tires with chalk so that they can give speeding tickets later? I would think if that person had not violated a law the cops should have no reason to touch their car. Is this the case? Also, what about cops marking headlights with soap outside of bars so other cops on the road know which cars are leaving bars?

Our stepfather is very upset that nothing was left to him (insurance wise) so he is consider if her kids can't take her half of their property. Can we? He is being very ugly with us and keeping her personal property from us. I don't want it to get ugly but if I have to I will.

1. It is at 11am. Is that 11am local time for overseas, or 11am absolute time. i.e. in Iraq did they have the 2 minute silence at 11am local time, or 3pm local time (or whatever it is).

2. Who went in person to a remembrance parade today? I went, for the first time in 20 years.
Nothing's changed lol!

OK only 2 questions then. Here is the tomb of the unknown queston.

I know that when you join the Air Force, at MEPS you choose five jobs that interest you, and the Air Force chooses the job for you based on qualifications and the needs of the Air Force. What I want to know is, how long after MEPS will it be before I know what MOS I've been assigned from my choices?
