Being an American comes first. My outlook on life would have to be considered conservative by most standards...although I have misgivings about a lot of so-called conservatives in Washington. It would be nice if Democrats and Republicans could focus on what's good for this country rather than demonizing each other. And the irrational need to link everything wrong in the universe to "this administration's failed policies" is getting very old...even to alot of my liberal friends.

Democrat. As a matter of fact I stopped dating a wonderful guy once because he let it slip that he was a Republican; he actually admitted it !
He tried to get me back with promises that he would change his party affiliation to Democrat, but I knew he would be alone in the voting booth and........well, you know you can never trust a Republican. They take an oathe to never tell the truth. True !
