Your a Penn State fan and you don't know the answer to that question? I sure hope you aren't attending Penn State because if you were that would be a very bad reflection on them.

Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are protectorates not states. We only have 50 states.

only 50 the U.S. doesnt "own" Puerto Rico the U.S. government just has jurisdiction over it and it protects Puerto Rico if they need help and so on and so forth. they get everything the U.S. gets just they arent a state and they have their own personal government to run them the U.S. government just helps out.
