I am Canadian and never heard of it and I pay close attention to world politics. Our system has flaws and corruption but none want to switch to your system. We actually hope you eventually switch to give us a reason and maybe example to improve it.

George Bush gave only 300 dollars just to tax payers, the Dems critisized him for it?

Both partys have me confused the Republicans think its okay to give away money in the form of tax breaks but the Dems oppose that. The Dems thinks its okay to give away money in cash Which the Republicans oppose. What's the difference? It's still giving away money. It's like an watching an Abbot and Costello routine.

can an individual citizen give?

Support only comes from funding and that comes from the president or congress, depending on circumstances. So when politicians say "support our troops", aren't they really saying "support the president" or
"support the republican party" or
"I want to 'appear' patriotic"?

I don't see how citizens can provide any actual support for soldiers half a planet away from home. And every time I hear this, it has political implications or is used as a sound byte to promote something.

I understand that free health care isnt "free", we would be paying for it in taxes. we can afford it. if we can afford hundereds of billions of dollars to fund the "war on terror", we can afford health care for everyone in america. my question is why dont americans want to do it? its really not as difficult as everyone thinks. if everything is run by government funding, then there is no money to be made by corporations. Therefore it wouldnt be more costly, it would actually be cheaper, because you do away with competition in that industry. people wouldnt be focused on making money, but rather helping other people.

if it is less, is it as less as before you were sent to kosovo? or is it more then before being shipped out but less then what you were getting when the person was in kosovo?

this could be a bit confusing but does anyone know?
