Morals, Circumstance, Maturity
I don't know...
Is denying life for the greater good the right thing to do?
15 year old mother without the support of a family
or a 55 year old woman who risks her life as well as the baby
or in the future when they can tell if you baby has birth defects like down syndrome, or severe mental retardation
or your a mother with AIDS and finds out she's with child
Personally I cannot wrap my head around the question. I see both sides......life is precious but at this time I'd say it's her right to decide....maybe one day that will change

Are you a female? Are you pregnant? No one has a right to tell another person what they can and can not do with their body. How would you like it if you had a terrible mole you wanted to have removed and I said no, it's immoral and you can't do it.
Hypothetical, you have a daughter, she wasn't raped, isn't going to die from giving birth but she's 14 years old, her boyfriend is the same age. Should she keep the baby or have an abortion? Her quality of life will be awful, having to drop out of school to take care of the child, you would be responsible for helping her.
In this case would you be for abortion? How about adoption? How about foster care?

I agree with TG. There is no reason anyone should be able to tell someone else what to do with their bodies. It especially annoys me when men support abortion. Until a man has to go through a pregnancy, they should have no say.
The only people who should decide whether a woman can get an abortion is the woman herself and her doctor. That's my opinion.
Now if you're talking about the local whore getting an abortion twice a month, then you've got a point. But if you're talking about abortion in general, then why don't you support it?
If a woman across the country from you decides to abort a fetus, does it directly affect you? No.
Or what if it is a complicated pregnancy? What if going through with the pregnancy would create problems for the mother and child?
Or what about if the pregnancy was accidental? A baby can change life, for better or worse. Say a 17-year-old gets pregnant and wants to abort, but can't because it's illegal. What would she do? What if her family disowns her because she's having a child out of wedlock? (I know 2 people who have had this happen to them) Or what if she had planned to go to college, but now can't because she's got to put all her money and time into raising her baby?
Well there's my rant....

Aborion IS legal. that is a legal proper that electorate have. the individuals ought to settle on what must be accomplished on the topic of a womans body, the exceptions and what are freedoms are and are not. that is my challenge with the right to lifers... quicker or later i changed into utilising down the line - and that i talked about a guy with a demonstration that said "infant Murdering production unit" with an arrow pointing down the line - and he had a doll - with pink paint throughout it and a noose round it really is neck - and he changed into preserving both one among those products up. apparently - there changed into an abortion health facility down the line. Now - i do not imagine abortion is a good element. it really is totally no longer something that ought to favor for use as birth control. i have not in any respect had an abortion. yet - abortion is legal in this u . s .. And till that is prohibited - human beings like that JERK inclusive of his signal and infant doll - favor to options their own agency. possibly if he'd somewhat been a compassionate, being concerned human being - he ought to have held up a demonstration that said "do not do it. i will living house you till you've the baby - and then i will undertake it." Throwing guilt on the ladies individuals that opt for abortion doesn't sparkling up a lot of something. I propose extremely - - - possibly some lady taking position that street and on condition that signal turned right into a sufferer of rape. and probably after multiple theory and prayer and counseling - she determined that terminating the being pregnant changed into the great element. and then - she had to be sure that jerk with that signal. it really is basically incorrect. lots of the right-to-existence human beings take it too far. again - ABORTION IS legal in this u . s .!!

Murder of a human being is illegal, but until there is consensus on what constitutes a human being in the prenatal condition, the federal government should give it back to the states. The states should give it back to the people. There should be no law, at this point it is only a moral question.

Hmmm....Listen I would choose not to have an abortion in my personal life. But unlike Xtians, I don't go around imposing my beliefs on others. Why dont you work towards promoting the reduction of wanted pregnancy by providing access to birth control combined with education....

Someone had to go and quote the Bible. What's religion got to with legal precedents? I believe that having an abortion should remain a woman's choice and therefore, legal.

Amen, TG. Whether or not a woman wants to get an abortion is her choice. Whether or not to get an abortion is a moral issue, and everyone's morality is different. Most people's morality is tied to religion, and this country is built on the separation of church and state.
So, once again, get your religion off my body.

It's interesting that it's always men who are so adamant about what it's ok for a woman to do with her body. Abortion is legal, and will remain so.

It is legal - and will stay that way.
Fortunately for you, you don't have a uterus so you don't have to worry about getting one, now do you.
Actually, anyone who doesn't have a uterus has no place in the discussion in the first place.
