A friend of mine from where I used to work just told me that she got fired. She said she doesn't think she can collect unemployment because the reason she got fired was labeled as "misconduct." I have no idea what she did yet, but is that a general rule for collecting unemployment?

Hi I am currently wondering which is the best military service for education benefits. I am currently looking into the Army National Guard or the Navy reserves. I know that the guard pays for 100% of your schooling and I know that reserves does not, but does the reserves have any other incentives that the guard does not. So what is the best route for me. Oh and dont bother telling me not to join because I'm going to no matter what anyone says, its my choice and I'm going to do. Thank you

It seems that many believe objecting to the war for any reason equals trying to actively undermine the troops. Is is not possible to respect those troops who are serving in an honorable fashion while still believing that the premise for and results of the war are inherantly wrong?

Please leave the democrat, republican, liberal, conservative talk out of your answers.

Well, all I was trying to do was look out for fellow citizens. How come cops are able to give tickets to people who are trying to help others recognize that they may not be driving in a proper manner? Isn't this for the well being of the community? Anyway, I think their is a problem with the justice system.

Are there any laws or legal issues associated with a person in Mexico wanting to buy my car? I live in U.S. and person contatced me through email wanting to buy my car. They are arranging shipping. Situation is a little odd. They dont want to call and talk to me about it, dont care if they see what the car looks like. They just said they will mail me a certified check and they will arrange shipping after the check clears my bank. I cannot find their name for any state in U.S. but he says he is from Texas. I wonder if he is from Mexico. Anyway, so long as check clears, am I in the clear too?

Every human-being must feel responsibility for present and future world. Everyone has to contribute their part of share towards peace of the world and better living of our and future generations. Utilizing the power of vote is not just enough, Everyone has to involve in decision making also. For that Government or Elected Leaders should consider our point-of-view before taking any decisions and opinion of majority of people's decision must be implemented. Through this we can achieve the meaning of great saying:

"FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, OF THE PEOPLE"

If they win, we won't have another chance to secure the border as by 2012 or 16, there will be so many illegals they will probably be legalized by them and then they will, of course, vote against this. Our 2 party system will become 1 party. The Democrats will rule.

To be honest though, the Republicans have hurt themselves. Not all, but a big minority have support illegal immigration as they are in the pocket of big business. Some have tried to pass "comprehensive" reform(Bush and McCain and Giuliani).

So Globalist neocons are in it for big business.

Progressive dems want to change the demagraphics.

So who are Americans to turn to in 2008? I think the only realistic choice would be Romney. Your opinions?
