What were the main reasons for the Second World War? Why did these factors lead to a world war, rather than to a number of regional conflicts?

Japan, Italy and Germany all had expansionist visions, and began acting on them. They all were nationalistic, competing for economic resources and attempting to reverse their fortunes resulting from previous conflicts etc....they blamed Anglos and Jews for the plight, as well as others....

They entered into a tripartite agreement, and supported each other's military objectives.

Germany invaded Poland (bringing France and British Empire into the fray); Italy invaded Ethiopia; Japan attacked China....; Germany took on USSR;....so on and so forth...

After Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, the US declared war on Japan, which prompted Germany to declare war on the US....

Thus practically the entire world was in conflict...axis powers vs. the allied powers.

BTW, All this can be easily found on the web.....why don't you give that a shot!!?!

The main reason was a hangover from world war 1 which left the germans an embarrassed and bankrupt people. Hitler used this and started preaching to regain lost terrotorries and military might which was banned after WW1. the west was too weary of war due to the horrific events of the first war to do anything about it before it was too late. Hitler went too far when after taking back traditional german land he invaded poland. Today this is the main reason any dictator building an army like iran with its nukes, is being threatened before its too late to do anything about it.

Basically....WWII started because Hitler was going nuts in Europe. He began to invade countries that were allied with other countries....Sure if they were all completely independent of each other, it would have been more of a regional thing. However, France was allied with England (believe it or not), and Poland was allies with other countries as well. And yes, Pearl Harbor started it for the United States. Although it might not have taken much longer for the US to enter anyway, because England was a close ally.

Go to www.zeitgeistmovie.com and there you will find truth why it happened. Banks and the richest families making it happen. Plus you can tap into google who's really running this world and there are notes about all wars especially one and two. There again its about the banks funding the Presidents and making money off it. Its down to the banks who basically wins the war. The one they favour the most they lend out more money and the ones they dont wont to win they cut off.

There is a new thing called a BOOK, and I understand they contain lots of information in them. If you go to a library, someone will show you how they work.

Ultimately, like every other war, it was about Money Man trying to get more money to slap on to his already considerable Money Butt.
