If I'm to understand, the EU does have it's own currency, although not every nation has been willing 2 adopt the euro, e.g. U.K., Denmark. & I would look @ the Wikipedia article, but I don't have all day. So I just need some good comparisons between the EU & the United States.

i"m justing seeing what people think here. It's already known that the u.s wants to go into iran but the american are against it right now.So i guess there will be another completely unforseen attack like 9/11 only this time the culprits will be iranian, then the american people will be screaming for us to go in. What does everyone else think about this?

From my understanding, socialized medicine is when the government runs all aspects of healthcare: the funding, hiring, and managing of all work in hospitals. Single-payer just requires the government to fund public healthcare but hospitals would remain independent and privately owned and managed. Do you agree? What can you add?

I know people will hastily comment that these two systems are the same and will result in communism and so on. Please. Every other industrialized country has some form of government managed healthcare that is drastically more significant than the anarchy of the US system (you get what can, which is just harsh and subtle chaos).

I have taken loads of photos for a charity and just wondered whether the photos actually still belong to me or do the charity now own them?

I just want to be really clear on where I stand legally.

Also, if they do belong to the charity, would I still be able to use any of the photos to promote my own portfolio if I got a model release form from the people who are in the photo?

Sorry if it's a bit garbled!!

I have heard that it is the FANLANT test (a little machine that flashes red, green, and white lights) but I am not sure because the Ishihara test (the one with the multicolored dots) is so common. Please clear this up for me.
Also, if the FANLANT test is used and I pass, am I automaticly passed for the entire colorblindness test? I have taken a FANLANT test before and have made no mistakes on it but I am still diagnosed with a very minor color deficiency. Please help me clear this up because I have wanted to fly since I was four and I figure that the Navy would be a great place to start.

It seems like there are too many canidates who either "act" like they don't know what needs to be fixed or don't care to fix the problems that our system has... It seems to me there is too much greed invoved in our countries politics... when will the "people" of our country take back control of this great nation from the crooks and liars?... or will it never happen?

I knew for some reason that the person who parked too close to my car would end up scratching my car with their door. So i copied their number down. Then when they left. I noticed the scratch. Well it wasn't a long scratch but it chipped off my black paint and now it's white. I mean what can i do? The police won't give a damn i bet. Also i know they did it, but how can it ever be proven? What would you have done? I'm sick of people who do this. They have no respect. I always make sure to not damage people's cars. If i have to hop over to the other side where there is more room to enter or exit. I would and do. I take extra measures to ensure that other people's property aren't damaged. But people don't do the same.

Its public knowledge that Hillary Clinton has attended bilderburg meetings numerous times (They have publicly released names of their members who attend, just not what they do.) Thats one of those "secret societies" by the way...It gets worse-what bothers me most is that she was caught lieing about having any knowledge about bilderberg WHATSOEVER. My question is: has anyone else seen her in this youtube video?

Lieing on video: http://www.jonesreport.com/articles/091107_hillary_denies.html

what do you think?

Or do they forget why they were elected?

It seems that each party that is elected promises to fix everything, so the people vote them into office.

Then the people get tired because they haven't done anything they promised and boot them out of office.

It's a cycle that has been repeating since the US became a country.

What say you?

Who can forget the unprovoked terror attacks of September 11, 2001? Who can forget that 21 Iranians flew those planes? Who can forget the Ayatollah and Amadinejad laughing and smiling at a victory party while babies burned?

Now they are building a nuke to kill millions of us. How can we just sit back and let them? We're all going to be incinerated like the slopes at Hiroshima!

I have two dogs and my building only allows one. Approximately 10 other people in the building also have 2 dogs. Recently we all received letters stating to remove one of the dogs by the end of October or legal action would be taken. Nobody got rid of their other dog. Now I have received a second letter, this time from a lawyer. It seems I am the only one that received this second letter. I spoke to the other tenants that have 2 dogs and they didn't receive a second letter. Before I moved in here, I had an argument with the rental agent after I had signed my lease, and she made it very clear that she didn't like me. Could this be some personal vendetta? Why would I receive a second letter threatening further legal action and nobody else in the building did? Is there anything I could do? Is this discrimination? I would like advice from people with experience so I can figure out what my next step is.
