It seems like there are too many canidates who either "act" like they don't know what needs to be fixed or don't care to fix the problems that our system has... It seems to me there is too much greed invoved in our countries politics... when will the "people" of our country take back control of this great nation from the crooks and liars?... or will it never happen?

It won't happen while the major sponsors are in control of the campaign money. Honest people can't run since they can't afford to; it would require them to run with their own money since no company would give them money and it is an expensive race.

To get the money and backing you need to run for Government you need to sell your soul to a lot of folks and corporations who have their best interests at heart, rather than the people.

Power it self is often a means to an end. I think a lot of folks get into politics with sound ideals but you end up having to do a lot of deals you may not like to get things done.

As for 'will it change?' Hell, what else does your Government have to do to you folks before you jump up and say "enough"? They have done nothing by lie to you for the last seven years, spy on you, kill your soldiers in a war based on lies and betray your constitution - and you do nothing. So I think the answer is it probably won't change for a while yet....

I really like Ron Paul. He wants to restore our Constitution and stop the government from wasting our money.

Ron Paul stands for freedom, liberty, truth and justice for the US citizens. He wants to get us out of the UN, NAFTA, CAFTA and stop the North American Union.

Ron Paul is Pro Life and believes that every citizen should have the right bear arms to defend ourselves against a corrupt government - just like the 2nd amendment says.

Ron Paul wants to end the tax structure that is destroying us through the IRS.

Ron Paul wants to eliminate wasteful govenment organizations who are not doing their jobs.

Ron Paul says, "We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all.It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked."

You might like Ron Paul. Check him out at www.ronpaul2008.com. He seems pretty honest and is the only republican candidate that acknowledges the messed up state our government has become. Check out some of the third parties too. There really are honest people out there running for president, you just have to do your due diligence.

Candidates like Ron Paul (Republican) and Dennis Kusinich (Democrat) seem to be more in touch with the people and more inclined to do our bidding.

Unfortunately, winning elections is all about money and media. Corporations have the money and own the media.

The only chance we have at winning our government back is the Internet. Whatever you do, don't let them get their stinking mitts on the Internet. Revolt if necessary.

You are so correct with your observations of government. God's Kingdom ruled by Jesus Christ is man's only answer. This is shown in the Bible at 2 Timothy 3: 1-5, (last days we are living in) and Matthew 24:14 & Matthew 6: 9-13.

God's Kingdom is man's only answer.

I feel the same. We have no leaders today. It appears people want to be president, governor, or congress person just say they were. No one wants to step on toes, piss off other countries or certain group of people, or just be president of the people or congress person of the people of the U. S. It sad, I love this country.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't see true sincerity in any of the candidates. It seems like politics has just become a power/money grab.
