The Earth is accepted by scientists to be around 4.5 billion years old.

At 6000 years old, no form of life could be possible as planetary stabilization would not be able to form, let alone an atmosphere or any kind of biological growth.

all scientists agree that planet earth is about 4.5 billion years old! that means a lot. they agree on the accuracy in their method of measurement, the radiocarbon dating. this method is good for these types of measurement, the geological time. so this is a fact ! the answers given to this question is an evidence of our inability to conceive evolutionary time. we are not even a dust in the air in such a reality! peace

Remember it is the History Channel. Hey, that should be really accurate going back 650 million years. That is pretty funny because when they find a body by the railroad tracks, they can't even figure out if the body had been there for a year or ten years. You should ask the Weather Channel. They are so busy whining about Global Warming and are biased toward the left wing Liberals, that I can't watch the weather channel anymore.

Nobody believes that the world is 6000 years old. Then again, Nobody said he fought a cyclops.

But on a saner note, very few people think the world is 6000 years old. 4-5 billion years is the generally accepted age.

The Earth is not 6,000 years old. I don't know if it is 650 million or not either though.

You should edit your question and add, according to the Bible. Notice that the vast majority of the responders, who are probably Christian, have no idea to what you're alluding.

Don't know, but I'm assuming Earth has been here forever.

I guess some rather displaced candidates
validate this as a political question. Oh well.
