Shouldnt the people that are actually fighting this war make the call on weather they should stay or not, or do we make it for them? I say we let them choose & we as a people back their decision.

When parental rights are severed due to child abandonment, the court posts a 10 notification for John Doe when father paternity has not been established.

Where do they place the ad or notification for John Doe.

I guess it is the last step to make sure there are not any other potential fathers before the child can go up for adoption.

The detective took personal and private info I gave him and told my daughter who is the compaintant. That act has probably dissolved any salvageable relationship there may have been.

When people find out that I'm against illegal immigration, they love to freak out and say... " why don't you leave, your an immigrant too" lol wtf? is what i say. Since when am I liable for what my ancestors did? Im sure if I was living in my "native land" and illegals were crossing the borders constantly raping my governments social services, I would feel the same way. I just don't understand why people support illegals so much?
It has nothing to do with race, but everything to do with economics.

O.K. we have hit some hard times recently, I don't want to tell you all my business but my husband is a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corp. We have a 10 month old son, but I'm afraid I may be pregnant again- even though we use condoms :( Anyway we are having a really hard. I was wondering if we could get food stamps.

P.S. I can't get a job because my husband works weird hours.

Why did it take a Presidential Address to inform us that our superior military forces had killed 12,000 terrorists since January? President Bush said last night that we had killed on average, 1500 enemy forces per month since January! That is freaking amazing! What a great job our soldiers are doing over there, and the Democrats have the gall to call General Patraeus a liar!

Is the media afraid of psychologically intimidating the enemy by crowing about how many of their fellow jihadists have died? What is wrong with our media (rhetorical question, I know)? 12,000 dead enemies, and not a peep!

Why isn't our media helping us discourage the enemy by simply reporting the truth?

I've asked it before, I'm asking it again, in all seriousness...WHAT are REPUBLICANS Doing to Make the US and the World a BETTER place?

Republicans, neocons and conservatives are CONSTANTLY railing against global warming, the UN, this charity organization or another, they're against this cause or that cause. It doesn't seem like Republicans believe in much except for George W. Bush, "trickle down" economics, making and keeping money for themselves, and God. But you wouldn't know they believed in the latter or his Son, Jesus Christ by the way they act. So my question is What Are REPUBLICANS Doing to Make the US and the World a Better Place?

A few nights ago, about 2 in the morning, someone was beating on our door. My husband opened it a crack (though I've told him not to open the door at all without asking who it is first). He asked what the person wanted. It was a female who wasn't making much sense. He thought she said, "Can I buy a tv?" Then she began asking for "Steve." He told her she had the wrong apartment and I clearly heard her say, "No, I don't." He tried to shut the door on her and she actually tried to push her way into the house. She did manage to get her head in twice. He told her, "Don't come in my house!" and then finally shoved her forcibly out the door and shut & locked it. About 15 minutes later, there was a loud pounding on the door. I told him, "Do not open it. Call the police." I figured she was angry and got a guy to come back w/her and cause trouble. Which, my neighbor who looked out the peephole said that is what she did do. Should I press charges on these people? The cops know who they are.

My son who works would like to train as a plumber but he can't afford the college course ,however a friend of mine son who has been convicted of a fraud and been punished ,lost his job because of this, has now been awarded a grant under some criminal rehabilitation act (which he does not have to pay back) to allow him to retrain as a plumber and this grant covers the full cost of the course.
