A friend of mine is in the air force. He's enlisted and today he ended up getting into a fight and punched an officer. He ended up getting arrested. He also received a DUI in february. He said he will probably be kicked out, but isnt sure. Anyone have an clue on what will likely happen to him? He says he doesnt want to stay in any longer as it is. He's 24.

They have called General Petraus, "General Betray-us" and as such have implicitly called him a traitor to this country AND by extension every other soldier that agrees with the General's assesment of the battle of Iraq; the majority of them.

An absolute perfidious sickness has befallen the left.

What sayeth you's?

For political issues or Conspiracy are they an appropriate reference?
are they more credible than professional trade journals when it comes to specific areas of study?
i mean, would you list 'popular mechanics' in a bibliography of a serious paper?

I thought it was great, it really shows the disrespect Hillary has for our army. Do you liberals really think she would make a good president?

said about General Petraus was wrong. The term "Betray Us" all but call him a traitor, and he is one of the most decorated soldiers in this country. I was just wondering if any Democrats could stand back and say, "Okay, that is going too far".

I like to have you opinion, is it healthy, to criticize and question your military and political leaders, or should you just say "Heil"?

IF the decision of who would be our next President rested squarely on your shoulders (everyone else had voted, it was a complete tie and you were the last person to vote), do you know who you would vote for? Would you be voting FOR a person, or just AGAINST all the rest? Would you vote for this person because you know what they stand for, and how they've voted before, or would you vote for this person because they are popular, or won the last debate or poll?
I think we all know that the public does not pick the President, the Electoral College does, but IF it worked like I said, do you feel like you could decide who our next President would be?

Right now, I couldn't. If I had to vote in the next 5 minutes, I'd have to say that most of my vote would be based on who I didn't want to be President, instead of voting FOR the person who best represents the issues that I care about.

If you can provide some examples of Socialist or Communist countries with lower unemployment, higher GNP, a better standard of living, higher income and higher economic growth than the Capitalist United States I would appreciate this.

If this isn't possible then an explanation of why the Democrat party favors Socialism and quite often meets and supports Communist governments over Capitalism that would be helpful as well.

Thanks.

The White Speeding Signs with the Speed numbers listed on the highways and roads, and interstates, are showing us the MAXIMUM Speed allowed by the law, not the Officers. They Officers uphold the laws, just like the Military does not tell their comanders they dont want to fight, they do it, they took the oath to uphold the constitution. We have the choice as Drivers as to weather we want to break the laws we learned and that are posted. If we go through a red light or stop sign, then we broke the law, if we speed any numbers over what is posted, then we broke the law, If we dont have our seat belts on, then we broke the laws, If we dont turn on our turn signals or cross over a solid white line to change lanes, then we are breaking the laws A solid White line is to be treated as a Solid Wall or barier and not using your signals will leave you possibly at fault in incodents as you are not letting anyone else know your intentions of changing lanes or turning off. So Quit complaining

I am currently doing some research on certain issues that have been brought to my attention via the media and other television programs. Aside from what I see on television, I am talking to the American people directly and am researching to see if the results are really the same. I appreciate any input you have on this question and your feedback is important. I am listening to what America has to say.

I'm not saying it's the only reason, I'm saying it is one of many reasons.
If you think oil has nothing to do with it, don't you know cheap oil is the lifeblood to our economy? To the world economy?
"Well if it's about oil how come gas is expensive?" Because the supply of oil in the Earth is limited and the majority of what's left is in the Middle East. "Why don't we just drill in Alaska?" I think we will at some point. Beyond all that, isn't oil backed by American dollars? What would happen if it were to switch to Euros?

Is that fair for those of us American's who look at the findings for an accurate picture on the war in Iraq.

How can we support our leaders and military when we only get half truth and only the positive portions of the report. We look to these reports for deciding direction and the way they are being presented is not valid.

We are all watching this war very close and it shows how we are being underminded when the reports are shown to favor Bush instead of the troops

when will they admit iraq was wrong and support the rest of us sain folks. its only a matter of time before we realize that we should bring the troops home. all the threats of us being unamerican for not supporting the war have long been proven wrong.
