Okay, I know that the UK has different regions: Wales, N.Ireland, England, Scotland, and some other unknown Islands. I was wondering are all those people called "British" or is the word British only reserved for people who are in the England region? Why does Scotland have different laws and ways of doing things than in other places if they are the same country? Or are all these countries within a country? Should these countries seek independence?

At issue for AIPAC is Bush's decision last month to hold off on pushing to report Iran's nuclear case to the UN Security Council. The president and Israel have favored reporting it for the past two years. But with little support from other key US allies, Bush reversed course and endorsed a Russian offer that would allow Iran to conduct some, but not all, the nuclear work it says it needs for an indigenous nuclear energy program...."

I have seen many comments that attack Bush (or Blair) as if he has absolute power, like the rulers of some other countries, rather than him being the temporary president of a republic with a freely elected, representive government involving a seperation of powers. Are these critics simply playing the childish game 'If I were king'?

We know how patriotic George W Bush is, as are most Americans - but, the 2nd paragraph of the American Declaration of Independence states - QUOTE:

I'm curious to know that if by law, I would suffer any consequences for traveling with my son out of state (not out of the country!) Without his father's written consent?
The father and I are not married, nor living together, but he has signed the Paternity Rights form when our child was born.

Would I run into any trouble if I were to travel with my son?
BTW, he's 3 months old.

A recruiter approached me recently and got me into his office and now i wanna join and i am serious about it and they keep pushing me to join right now. i went through the process of enlisting, sorta, they wanted me to take the ASVAB, drug test and swear in and i got them to delay a week but thats not enuf time to be clean. I afraid if i say i dont want to right now, they wont take me later. I am done with the drug for good but i just dont have the time to get clean. I could get fake pee and test negative join and be done with the drug, but idnt if they search me or make me pee while being watched. Plus not to mention thats not honorable and its not a good start to joining. I dont know what to do.

I have a 16 year old step son who after 3 years of not seeing his birth mom she shows up and know the court says that she can see them under my supervison in her home state we live in two different states and we have to pay half of the cost for us to go out there there are three kids total. and we have to stay in a hotel. but the oldest does not want to go and does not want to be forced to see her. he said if she was in town and he wanted to then he would but only if he wants to. the Jduge has not spoke to the kids at all to see how they feel and mother has done alot of bad things this is why the oldest say's no he say's the other two are two young to remeber what happened I do not know what he is talking about but it has got to be big and bad. at least thats the way it sounds any way does he have to go or can he say no and not get on the plane and refuse to go.
