Depends...if it was years ago it may have been scrapped...try writing to the DVLA with the reg. no. although with data protection they wont be able to tell you the current owner if it is still registered.

Do you know who the executor of the will is? That is the person who should be honest with you and let you know where the car is. Etc. Take care.
